Inuyasha and Kagome

Chapter 1

{Kagome POV} I wake up to the sun glistening on my closed eyes. I wake up and stretch my arms in the air and yawn. I get up and open my window, the warm sun beems on my face, the birds sing lovely chirps and whistles. I smile, today is my 16th birthday I think to myself. I keep my window open to let the morning breeze in my room. I walk out of my room down the wooden staircase to the kitchen. I see my mom making breakfast, she turns around. "Oh! Good morning Kagome!" She says sweetly and hugs me, I hug back. "Morning mom. Whatca cooking?" I ask as I sit at the dining room table. "Just a nice little breakfast for my little darling's 16th birthday!" She explains cheerfully. She walks to the table and places a big plate of food in front of me. "Woah! Thanks mom!" I start to dig into my breakfast. "No problem sweetheart! You need a big breakfast for such a big day, and since you're going to be gone for a few days." She kisses my head and walks back into the kitchen. Oh, duh! I almost forgot about going back to see everyone. Today is the one year anniversary since I fell down the bone eaters well. I finished my breakfast and handed the plate to my mom. "Thanks mom. I'm going to take a bath, and get ready before I leave." I say as I walk up the stairs. "Okay sweetheart." She says while washing the dishes. I walk into our bathroom, then I turn the nozzles to turn on the water. The warm water begins to pour out, I put a plug in the drain so no water seeps through. I slip off my pajamas and enter the warm soothing water. Ahhhhh... such nice relaxing water... The warmth is amazing, I'm going to miss this when I'm gone... After soaking in the tub for awhile, I wash my hair and wrap my body and hair in towels. I walked out of the bathroom into my bedroom. I changed into a cute little simple dress (in picture above) and blow dried my curly black hair. I was about to grab my backpack to pack up food and supplies, then I realized it was gone. I walked downstairs, into the kitchen and asked my mom about my missing backpack. She smiled at me, and handed me a red backpack that had my name stitched in a yellowish gold thread. I smiled, "Oh my goodness! Mom it's so nice looking and big! I can put so many supplies in it! Thank you" I hugged her, she hugged me back. "You're very welcome sweetie. I also packed up all the supplies you could think of, food, water bottles, candy for Shippo, first aid kit, etc." "Oh wow, thank you." I looked at the clock, "I better start to leave now, they're probably waiting for me." I said walking out the door. "Okay, bye Kagome!" My mom called. I ran into Sota on my way out, "Oops! Sorry Sota!" I apologized. "Oh, it's okay. By the way, Happy Birthday Kagome!" He said as I ran past him. I ran to the bone eaters well, I took a deep breath and jumped in.
