THE 'TRUTH'?

???: Beomgyu! I'm so glad to see you! (as he moves forward towards Beomgyu)

BEOMGYU: I don't think we've ever met mister, Now if you don't want me to call the police, get out!

???: I knew you wouldn't believe it but it's time I reveal my identity, son.

BEOMGYU: (confused af) huh?

As Beomgyu looked at the man, he heard someone enter into the house. It was none other than her sister Hanni.

HANNI: I'm sorry I'm late (turns towards Beomgyu) And Gyu you forgot to close the door! 

???: (sighs) I'm your father Beomgyu, Choi Steve.

BEOMGYU: What the heck!? It's not some kind of joke! 

HANNI: He isn't lying Gyu- I also come to know about it a few days ago. 

STEVE: It's time you know the truth about Yeonjun. 

Beomgyu didn't say anything but stared at the man so he would continue whatever he was going to say.

STEVE: Yeonjun's dad and I used to be really good friends. He was really poor back then so I decide to help him and we decided to start a company together. Since I was the one invested most of the money we both agreed that my son would be the next heir.. But he got greedy, he didn't want to share the company with me anymore. 

So he- he killed your mother and tried to kill me too. But he failed. (pauses for a second and then sighs) Why do you think Yeonjun is so crazy about the company? I bet he already knows. And why would he let you go? Because he's scared that you would steal his position from him. 

Beomgyu kept quiet for a second and then stood up.

BEOMGYU: I-I'll be coming back.

He walked outside the house rather hurriedly holding his tears. He let it all out again. He kept walking until he felt weak. He would've fainted there if someone hadn't come in time. 

SOOBIN: Beomgyu? Are you alright?

Without thinking the younger hugged Soobin tightly while he took him in a nearby park to sit. Soobin waited until the younger stopped crying.

SOOBIN: What happened? (looks at him with a softened expression)

Beomgyu really needed to tell someone about his feelings, so he told him everything. Everything about Yeonjun and their fake relationship.

SOOBIN: Well I'm not shocked.. I knew he would do something like that. But come on! You deserve the company more than that brat!

BEOMGYU: But-

SOOBIN: Don't tell me you're still worried for that fucker when he has hurted you so much!

BEOMGYU: (crying) What should I do Soobin?

SOOBIN: (sighs) For now, just go to your dad, you have met him for the first time and still you're thinking just about Yeonjun.

BEOMGYU: You're r-right.. (as he stood up) Thanks for today Soobin.

SOOBIN: (smiles) You know you can tell me anything, right?

Beomgyu nodded and went back. He suddenly felt so stupid and embarrassed for running away   just like that. He took a deep sigh and hugged his dad.

STEVE: I missed you , son.

Meanwhile Yeonjun was waiting at the door. His father could arrive anytime. After a minute or so, he heard the bell ring.

YEONJUN: Hello father. (forces a smile) Did you-

DAD: I don't see your wife here with you. She should've also came here to greet me.

YEONJUN: ( looks down) She- she left me dad.

DAD: huh? What!? I should've never let you marry the girl of your choice!

 YEONJUN: I'm sorry-

DAD: (slaps him) I didn't fucking expect this from you Yeonjun! Don't be a disappointment like your brother! (chuckles bitterly) Where are you looking at? Carry my suitcase to my room. I also have something to tell you. Follow me.
