We sat on the couch and ate pizza. It occurred to me that he still hadn't answered my question about why he was here.

"Hey Mark?"

"Yeah?"

I was about to ask him again but his phone practically exploded. He picked it up and looked at the screen. He stared wide eyed at the screen then leaned back and stared at the ceiling.

"Mark? What's up? Why'd your phone go off?"

Tears welled up in his eyes and he took a deep breath. He sat up and looked at me. It was only then when he looked at me that I realized that they were tears of joy.

"I hit 8 million."

"Oh my god Mark that's great!!!!! What now? Don't you have to make a video? You can use my stuff if you need to."

"No, no. I'm good I'm going to wait until the tribute video is up so I can look like a baby in front of everyone. Come on. I do however want to go get a drink with the loudest man on earth."

I grinned and grabbed my hoodie. I opened the door and he followed me into the main plaza. It wasn't a far walk and I'm sure Mark wouldn't mind.

*Yay skips*

We sat in one of the booths with three empty glasses of beer. The waitress came around and asked us if we wanted more. We ordered another round of beer and Mark ordered a glass of fireball. Mark got up and went to see where our drinks were, he came back and sat next to me instead of across from me. Well, I say sat, more fell into the seat next to me. He straightened up.

"Apparently we need to give them our car keys if we want more."

"But we didn't drive here. So shouldn't we get our drinks anyways?"

"Oh, well, you caught me. I was ordering a fireball for you."

I shook my head.

"Your lucky I'm an Irishman Mark. Or else I wouldn't accept that drink."

He smiled. I loved his smile. So did 8 million others. I'm glad he's happy.

"Hey Jack. Jack."

"Yeah?"

"You okay? You kinda zoned out and were staring at me."

"Sorry Mark.

"It's okay man, didn't you just hit 5 million a while ago?"

"Yeah."

"Did you do anything to celebrate?"

"Does the video on YouTube count?"

"No."

"Then no."

"Well then tonight is to you too."

By then our drinks had arrived. He held his drink up to me and I held mine up to his glass.

"Cheers."
