Y/n didn't know what to say, she just stare at her old photo in which is wearing a beautiful red saree which was gifted by her father on her wedding. She loved red color but after her husband died, she stopped wearing red knowing very well that peoples here won't like it

She is a politician.. A public figure who have to do everything according to public, she now wear only light colors according to public. Because according to most of the people's... A widow can never wear red, her life is full of light colors. They had stopped sati pratha but still in some areas, all widows have to face so many problems specially the young ones

"Vidhwa ke zindagi me laal rang nahi hota"

"Yaha rehna hai to samaaj ke hisaab se chalna hoga... Varna nafrat ke alawa kuch nahi milta"

She know very well that if she won't follow all the customs than peoples will create choas on it. Her being a political leader is not helping either, everyone have to sacrifice something to achieve the thing they want. She sacrificed the happiness of being a woman to achieve her dream to be a political leader
