WEARING A tube top, a blazer, and slacks paired with her new favorite silver heels. Ayze attended the so-called date— a meeting, with the Lim's company heir.

She was glamorous. Stunning. But the man in front of her was talking nonsense. Ayze eyed him carefully, ni hindi man ito nag-abala na mag-ayos. He was wearing a white shirt underneath his black blazer and tucked in his ripped jeans.

Pasimple niyang pinalobo ang pisngi at bumuntong hininga. If only they didn't bother her, wala sana siya ngayon sa harapan nito.

He kept talking about his life. Which was alam na niya lahat. Ayze badly wanted to answer that none of them were 'matino'. They're all bunches of bastards.

He's talkative for a guy. Usually, they let her do the talking.

What will happen today was planned on her head, pero kahit isa ay walang nasunod dahil sa lalaking kaharap niya. He looks like enjoying their conversation, kahit ito lang naman ang nagsasalita, and at the same time he looks so wary of her.

Well, she has a bad reputation when it comes to dating. And looks like his father already warned him about her.

"Do you know how to play billiards?" tanong nito sa kanya.

"No."

"I like playing billiards. Last time, may sinalihan akong tournament and guess what? I won." Mayabang itong ngumisi sa kanya. "Parang kasing kalahati ng buhay ang pagbibilyar—"

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Ayze simply wiped her lips using the napkin and gracefully placed the utensils on her plate. She raised her hand and ordered for wine.

He kept on talking throughout their lunch date— yes, the supposed meeting turned into a date for real because of this guy.

They were smiling at her, sa klase pa lang ng ngiti ng mga ito, she could tell what they're thinking.

Little did they know she was wondering kung kailan ito matatapos.

"How about you? Do you have any hobbies?" malawak itong ngumiti sa kanya.

"I don't have any particular hobby. Trabaho lang ang alam ko." It was a lie, though.

Ngumiwi ito sa kanya. "You must be a busy person."

"I am." May pagmamalaki sa boses na sagot niya.

She was a busy person yet she's wasting her time here.

The guy doesn't need to know more about her because after this date... they're not going to see each other again. That's for sure.

Her eyes dropped on the other side, naiwan nito ang cellphone.
