“Why would you tape that?”
Fr… that's a bit weird.
Dib walks towards me, his backpack finally packed. “Putting up a lot of fight for something as simple as parent-teacher night, Zim.” He glances at me with a smirk, “I bet he doesn't even know what parents are!”
The small alien growled turning towards us, “Of course, I do….”
His eyes ‘glaze over’ as if remembering something. My eyes widen as he jumped up latching his arms around my waist.
Clearing my throat he snapped out of his memory, pushing me away from him.
Ms. Bitters growls and slithers behind her desk. “You will be here tonight, Zim. You and your parents!”
With a small hum I followed after the alien who was making his way to the door.
“Yeah! See you and your parents tonight, Zim!”
Zim stops in the doorway, once again, “Yes. Oh, I will bring my pa-rents. And they shall be the greatest, most parental parents ever!”
And with that we started on our way home. Well.. I lagged behind him. It's been this way for a week, we literally live right next to each other so it's nice to have a partner to walk with. Even if he doesn't like my existence.
The walk was silent.
The little guy in front of me of practically depressingly staring at the sidewalk.
“Uh Zim… watch out-” my warning caused him to turn back to me.
“Huh?” He grunts as he trips over a motionless puppy. Zim lands right in front of his yard.
Mh eyes lift up seeing his RoboMom forcefully brushing the teeth of a makeup lady.
The Avon lady hits RoboMom with her bag and runs away. GIR chases after her.
“No, wait! Come back! I need stuff!”
He's so fucking cute.
Zim walks angrily into his house forgetting about my entire presence.
With a sigh walk to my porch, entering my home.
“welcome back, babygirl.” mom greets, applying her lipstick as she crossed the foyer in a rush.
“you don't need to have your Sunday best on.” I mutter dropping my bag right at the door.
She stopped in the doorway of the kitchen, “I want to make a good impression when I meet your friends.”
“She doesn't have friends, Jess” Mother yells from the downstairs bathroom.
“ShE dOeSn’T hAvE fRiEnDs” I mock walking up the stairs.
“I left your outfit on the bed.” Mom mutters slipping her earrings from her pockets, “Wear it.”
With the understanding of the demand, I huffed making my way to my room.
My face fell into a neutral face looking at the flared light blue jeans and puffy orange sweater, that had flowers embroidered around it.
Although it has only been a week with me being sick in this world, I've have once again come to hate my existence. Best part is that I don't have to work. I get free food. And I live in a house I don't have to pay for it.
WORST PART the little alien boy I'm obsessed with fucking HATES me.
“M/n hurry it up!” Mother’s yell echo up the stairs.
