Seeking closure, I delved into its novel adaptation, and let me tell you, I'm still questioning what inspired the author's vivid imagination. Aptly named, it's the kind of addictive read that consumed my days for weeks on end.
Each page felt like a cherished companion, finding its place in my library as a comforting refuge. Yet, I can't deny the toxicity that underscored their relationship, albeit interwoven with moments of genuine connection.
Then came the Chinese adaptation, framing it as a bromance, which wrapped up after just one season, leaving me pondering the uncertain fate of a potential second installment.
Spoiler alert/Trivia: The most mind-boggling coincidence? The series resurfaced seven years post-ban, mirroring the protagonists' own separation in the main storyline. They both are non-biological step brothers which they would only know after half way through.
