So this took me like three weeks and idk if it's any good. Also, I did like deep research on these characters. This is a modern AU. I'll explain a few things.
1. Collei and Tighnari are siblings. 2. The Akademiya is a prestigious college that only talented and rich ppl go to.
3. I just remembered, Tighnari still has his fox ears and tail.

Uh I've never been to college so idk much abt it and this might be rlly cringy. I pray my family doesn't see this. Anyway enjoy!

"Are you sure you're ready?" Tighnari's mom asked.

"Yes, Mom. I have to go now," Tighnari replied, opening his car door.

"Brother, wait!" Collei yelled, running before he could drive away.

"Careful, Collei. You know you shouldn't run like that."

"I know, brother. But I had to give you this," Collei said, handing him her special pita pocket wrapped in her favourite handkerchief. "I'll miss you. Come home soon."

"Thank you. I'll miss you too." Tighnari got into his car, holding the pita pocket.

"Bye, brother!" Collei waved as the fox drove away.

Walking down the halls was hell. His large ears could pick up every awful word spoken about him.

"Is that a furry?"

"Ew!"

"Look at his haircut!"

"I'd rather not."

Tighnari ran through the hall, hoping to escape the whispers. Turning the corner, he collided with someone, falling to the ground and dropping his books.
"Look at this freak," the bully (idk) said. The fox scrambled to gather his belongings, dropping Collei's gift. The scholar snatched it, holding it above Tighnari's head. He jumped up, unable to reach it, his tail bouncing with each failed attempt. Suddenly, a dark figure flashed forward, seizing the packaged pita pocket.

"That's enough. If I catch word of your out-of-line actions again, I will personally shove my polearm up your ass now beat it," the oddly dressed scholar ordered, handing the gift back to Tighnari. At that moment, the cloaked scholar seemed like a hero sent from Celestia and he looked like one too. His silky smooth white hair and beautiful ruby eyes made the fox's heart flutter.

He hesitantly took the pita pocket, accidentally grazing the other's palm sending his heart into cardiac arrest.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah. T-thank you," Tighnari stuttered, surprising himself.

"No need. Are you new here? I'm Cyno."

"I'm Tighnari. Could you help me?"

"Yeah, sure. What do you need?"

"I'm looking for Dorm 33."

"Dorm 33? Oh, that's mine! Come I'll take you there," Cyno said, taking the other's hand and leading him to their shared dormitory. Nobody noticed the obvious blush creeping on Tighnari's cheeks, well, almost nobody, Cyno did.

After a few weeks, Tighanri realized why Cyno had a long list of former roommates: most of them left, claiming his humour was unbearable. Others, with tasteful reputations, went missing without a trace. (I'm not saying he killed them. Simply disposed of them yk). But his strong sense of justice made up for his awful jokes if not added to his insane attractiveness.
