Chapter 3: Assessment

Kaidou was surprised when he noticed the last 2 objects. A flash of hope appeared within the crimson eyes. Biting his lip, he was relieved that he wouldn't be forced to kill a person if he ended up not finding any insects on this train.

Raising his head from looking at the bag, Shun gave once again a grateful smile at Hyungsung.

" Thank you Lee Hyungsung-ssi. "

" Is there anything missing from the backpack? "

Kaidou shrugged. He doesn't know since he wasn't Kim Namwoon. After being silent for a few moments, Shun decided to look behind Lee Hyungsung and around the cabin.

Other than him and Lee Hyungsung, Kaidou noticed that there were only a few people there. In total, there were 13 people on Cabin 3907.

The glint of hope in the crimson eyes became more prominent when Kaidou noticed the cabin number. If he remembers it correctly, Kim Dokja's Cabin is 3807. Yoo Joonghyuk is in Cabin 3707.

He could stay here until it was 7:00 pm and everything would start. If he ended up in Cabin 3807, even if Shun wouldn't want to kill any human being, he was afraid that he would end up dead.

In Kim Dokja's view, he is Kim Namwoon. Unknowing, that somebody has possessed his body. What the reader read from the 3 ways of survival is what Kim Dokja would probably believe. Shun should stay here and guarantee his survival.

After a while, stray thoughts entered Kaidou's mind. Like how could the fictional characters exist currently?

He was possessing Kim Namwoon and Lee Hyungsung was currently sitting beside him. Speaking of Lee Hyungsung, Shun glanced at him and asked.

" Lee Hyungsung-ssi don't you want to go back to Cabin 3807? Some things are more important than taking care of a Chuunibyou.  "

" Chuunibyou? "

Lee Hyungsung glanced at him in confusion. Shun pointed at himself causing Lee Hyungsung to understand and smile briefly.

" As a soldier, it was my duty to help a citizen in need like you. "

After that, Shun felt a tap on his shoulder causing him to feel embarrassed. He also felt envious and awed by Lee Hyungsung at the same time.

' He's strong and cool. '

Just like his friend Aren. Lee Hyungsung reminded Shun of his friend a lot. That's why Shun decided to stand from his seat and activate his Jet Black Wings mode while striking a post.

" The Dark Reunion's curse wouldn't work on me! I the Jet Black Wings have recovered. Sir Lee Hyungsung! "

Shun pointed at Cabin 3807. Kaidou can't trouble Lee Hyungsung. Lee Hyungsung needed to be at that place where Kim Dokja and the others would be found. Even if Kaidou feels afraid right now and wants Lee Hyungsung to stay with him to feel safe and secure, Lee Hyungsung is important to Kim Dokja and the others.

Looking at Kaidou's trembling legs but determined pair of crimson eyes, Lee Hyungsung sighed. A troubled smile appeared on his face. Standing from his seat, he ruffled the messy white hair of the kid.

" You're a nice kid. Since you requested this Hyung to don't trouble you, I would fulfill your request. If you feel weak, you can take a seat on the chair until you arrive at your destination. "

Kaidou nodded his head and returned to sit in a chair. Before Lee Hyungsung could leave, rummaging from Kim Namwoon's bag, he took out the alcohol and gave it to Kim Hyungsung.

" Alcohol? "

" You're wrong Sir Lee Hyungsung! This isn't alcohol but the legendary cleansing artifact that Jet Black Wings acquired during my travels before I betrayed the Dark Reunion. This is the gift of the Holy Maiden who has unprecedented powerful healing skills loved by the Great God! "

The last part was an ad lib... And because Teruhashi and Saiki suddenly entered his mind when thinking of constructing his story.

Accepting the alcohol hesitantly, Shun watched Lee Hyungsung left for Cabin 3807. A few minutes later, with Lee Hyungsung gone, Shun felt lonely. However, there are things that he needs to do. Approaching and talking to the other 11 passengers on the cabin 3907.

Glancing at the other 10 people inside the Cabin, Shun noticed that they were looking at him in disgust and hostility. After that, Kaidou became silent and returned to his seat.

In Japan, even though some people didn't accept the Anime culture, they tolerated it. Now, Kaidou was reminded that he wasn't in Japan, the source of Anime. His strange and eccentric behavior wouldn't be tolerated by most of the people.

Glancing at the passengers in this cabin, aside from the office worker lady, the other passengers are adults. One is a middle-aged man with a beer belly dressed in casual clothes. There is a man in his early twenties dressed in a suit and looking at his watch anxiously. There was also a middle-aged lady reading a newspaper.

Closing his eyes in defeat while glancing at Kim Namwoon's cell phone, Kaidou Shun accepted the fact that no one would listen to him.

At exactly 7:00 pm, Shun Kaidou disappeared from train Cabin 3907 and arrived at another train Cabin 3907.
