The regular Wattpad user probably understands the dilemma that drives me to write something like this. Our daily problems may be so great that they drive us to dive into fictional worlds, to avert our gaze to something we might be able to understand better. Maybe the problem is that we don't have many problems at all, that the world is so mundane when compared to the vast wealth of imagination that we cultivate in spaces like these.
Personally, I find it all quite frustrating, so I imagine a world where everything is a little more dramatic. This world is full of intrigue and possibility, rife with discovery beyond our wildest dreams. In my waking life, I'm little more than a tabletop role-player with mediocre grades and little direction for my future. But while I stand here on this blank page, ready to be swept up by my own pen, I can be anything and do everything.
This is a constant work in progress, so I'll be releasing new chapters on a biweekly basis, with the first three available as of January 3rd, 2024. I hope I can keep up with my own schedule. I'm starting my next semester of college in a few days, so that might slow me down. In any case, if you reach the end and you're hungry for more, come back in a couple of weeks and check up on me. I'll be posting updates so you're not left out in the cold.
