After a while, a thought pops into my head. "Hey Snowfall, where's Luna?" Snowfall looks ashamed, "Snowfall. WHERE'S LUNA."
"She... ran away, turns out she was using us for food and protection and she's not even a real fox!"
"What do you mean?"
"She's a demon fox, she's also part of the reason the hunters came in the first place!"
"What's the other part?"
"Us. They wanted fox fur or meat."
" oh...." I say quietly. I sit quietly waiting for Cheerio to return. Cheerio and Peppermint return hours later. " Chervil!" Cheerio jumps out of the dark and shouts. " Come on!" Peppermint yells and they both drag us to a nice burrow almost under a big oak tree. "This looks amazing!" I say.
"there's just one problem..." Cheerio says.
