The most precious day or decision for a girl's, even a boy's, life is marriage...The same is the situation with Shehnaaz...She is sitting in front of the mirror in bridal attire getting ready and was thinking of the day when Rajmata and Maharani came to her house with the alliance, how shocked she was...
Shehnaaz is an orphan, she doesn't know anything about her family....she was raised by a vaid (healer/ancient type doctors) couple who found her near a river when she was 5 years old...But there was a condition that she had to do all the work of their house...Shehnaaz didn't have any problem with that thinking at least she would get two-time meals and a shelter to live in.....
Shahnaz was happy with her life....she has a best friend, Vaishnavi who is the daughter of the couple who raised her....they also have a son, but she doesn't share that strong bond, but she knows he cares for her and she also cares for him....she used to address Vaishnavi parents kaka and kaki...They didn't treat her like their own daughter but didn't mistreat her also.....they do care for her and that is enough for her... She didn't went to school because her kaka kaki did not have that much money that they can afford her going to school along with their children....but she is smart and with the help of Vaishnavi she studied at home and can speak english really well...
But one day suddenly Maharani and Rajmata come to their home shocking her...She welcomed them and immediately rushed to call her kaka and kaki, who also got shocked listening to this and went to see what's the matter...
"Maharani sa, rajmata....app humare ghar.....hume bula liya hota...." said kaka standing in front of them joining his hand....
"baat hi kuch esi thi ki hume ana pada," said Rajmata smiling at them and sharing a knowing look with her daughter in law....
"app dono phele baithiye...." said Maharani to the couple....
both said down on a sofa in front of them... Kaki told shehnaaz to go and bring something for them....shehnaaz went inside the kitchen and immediately was bombarded with a question from her best friend.....but she just shook her head at her friend....
"Vaishnavi hume kaise pata hoga ki vo log kyu aye hai yaha....ab baatein band kr aur chal mere saath...unhe nasta parosana hai," said shehnaaz and gave a tray to Vaishnavi much to her dismay......
"humse kuch gustakhi hui hai maharani," asked Kaki scared of what is the reason that they had to come all the way long to their house themself....
"ji nahi....esa kuch nhi hai....balki hum to apse kuch mangne aye hai" said rajmata making them confused...
"hume pata hai shehnaaz app logo ki khud ki aulad nhi hai, par app logo ne usse pala hai...." added Rajmata making them more confused as to why they are saying all this now...yes they raised shehnaaz but what it has to do with them coming to their house....
