Gemma leaves her streaming room with a wobbly smile, eyes shining with tears at all the love she received from the server and her chat. She falls on the couch with a sniffle but stays quiet otherwise, not wanting to bother her sister.

As if sensing she's emotional, Rose appears around the corner and upon seeing Gemma's face she grabs a box of tissues from a shelf before sitting next to her. "Are you okay?" She checks, rubbing her shoulder.

"Yes," she says, voice soft. "It was such a good first day, I just got overwhelmed."

Her sister smiles knowingly, moving to half-hug her from the side. "I know, I was watching you tear up when those two eggs gave you flowers."

"Yeah," Gemma agrees quietly, "it's just been a while since I did a Minecraft server, y'know?"

Rose nods, the movement comforting against Gemma's shoulder. "You thrive with more people to bounce off, you'll love this server. I even started to catch up on the lore so I'm not confused."

Gemma laughs tearfully, wiping her eyes with a tissue. "I'm gonna get addicted," she jokingly warns, "you'll have to drag me away from my computer."

Rose fakes a deep sigh, "why didn't you get a job as something boring and depressing?"

Gemma laughs, and tackles her sister into a big hug. Having Rose live with her was a huge relief, her little sister is not only a good roommate, she's also Gemma's rock. Gemma's sensitivity wasn't always welcomed and people often thought of her as a drama queen or a crybaby because of it - even some of their family, so having Rose there with her to reassure her it's okay and valid did wonders for Gemma's mental health.

"Who was your favorite?" Gemma asks after a few moments, the two settled against the back of the couch, sides touching. "Of the people."

"Roier." Rose shrugs.

"You already know him, stupid." Gemma snorts, bumping their legs together. "Someone you didn't know before." She clarifies.

"Etoiles is funny, and you should play Valo with him and invite me." Rose jokes.

Rose was the one to get Gemma to play Valorant for the first time - before that Gemma stayed far away from fps games but now it's one of her favorite genres. The two tried to grind until immortal the year before but not getting there unmotivated Rose, while motivating Gemma even more.

"Chat is begging for you to come on again," Gemma points out, "it's been, what? four months?"

"A girl can be busy," Rose retorts, "some of us need to do good in school to get a job, Gem."

"I finished my psychology degree!"

"I'm pre-med." Rose reminds, bemused. "Good thing you're my rich roommate."

Gemma raises her eyebrows, "You make it sound like you're living here for free."

"No, no. I pay with my good company and charming smile," Rose grins, "see? That's a month's rent for you.
