The sword's edge was sharp, the cold light piercing. Li Zechen led with an overwhelming force, leaving the other actors portraying assassins far behind. In his eyes, there was only Li Mu Xun at this moment.

The air seemed to freeze with the chilling intent of the deadly attack.

The assistant director, bewildered by Li Zechen's performance, couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off, even though Li Zechen was under his direction.

As the actors playing assassins hesitated, Li Zechen's commanding presence disrupted the scene. According to the script, Li Mu Xun's guards should intervene, but the other actors struggled to keep up with Li Zechen's pace. In the blink of an eye, he stood before Li Mu Xun.

Li Mu Xun, holding Ye Ming, was contemplating the upcoming scene. However, when he met Li Zechen's eyes, an unprecedented sense of danger enveloped him.

In a critical moment, Li Mu Xun pushed Ye Ming away, swiftly dodged, and improvised a defense using the surroundings. In less than a second, he calculated multiple martial arts techniques and matched them to his physical abilities. Despite being an ordinary human, under Li Mu Xun's precise control, he avoided Li Zechen's thunderous strike.

The sword seemed razor-sharp, but it was a prop without a sharpened edge. Li Mu Xun's well-coordinated movements prevented the sword from tearing through his sleeves. The director, finally regaining composure, shouted, "What are you all standing there for? Attack!"

Li Zechen, realizing the situation, released his grip on the sword and stepped back. Despite the intense atmosphere, he didn't want trouble given his current status.

The furious director confronted him, questioning, "What happened just now?"

Though complex emotions surged within Li Zechen, he maintained a calm demeanor and apologized, "I'm sorry, lost control of the timing, acted too fast. Didn't expect them to fall behind."

The director paused, realizing that Li Zechen, despite his menacing appearance, had quickly abandoned the sword after the misstep. Perhaps it was a result of the intimidating aura affecting everyone's judgment.

Deciding to overlook it, the director directed the guards to intervene. Li Zechen, with a composed expression, retreated, mindful of the consequences in his current position.

The director, irritated, yelled at the actors for their delayed response. The filming continued, and Li Mu Xun and Ye Ming repeated the scene, on edge in case Li Zechen acted unpredictably again.

As the afternoon passed, they finally completed the shoot. Anxious to leave, Ye Ming tried to slip away, but Li Mu Xun stopped him. Reluctantly turning back, Ye Ming asked, "What's up, Li Ge?"

Li Mu Xun gazed at him with a compassionate and understanding look, hesitating before saying, "... Your performance today seemed a bit off. Is something bothering you?"

Feeling touched by Li Mu Xun's concern, Ye Ming smiled and reassured him, "Nothing, just need to adjust."

Li Mu Xun fell into contemplation, wanting to ask about Ye Ming's mysterious past, but refrained, realizing he wouldn't stay in the human world for long. Instead, he focused on concealing his true identity.

While Li Mu Xun pondered, Li Zechen approached, his eyes briefly turning cold. He spoke with a hint of apology, "I apologize for today's incident. I hope it didn't trouble you."

Despite the apparent apology, Li Zechen's eyes revealed no remorse, hinting at an underlying tension. He disliked anyone with ulterior motives approaching Ye Ming.
Li Mu Xun looked at Li Ze Chen, smiled slightly, seemingly unfazed by Li Ze Chen's rudeness, and casually said, "It's nothing, but... you're quite skilled. Have you received training?"
