she watched as little clouds of carbon dioxide visibly disappeared into the air as she breathed through her mouth. she didn't understand why, but she was frustrated.
hyemin always thought her friends would be supportive of her, but their constant nagging made her feel angry. it was as if they didn't trust her, but they didn't even know who minho was- how could they jump to warning her without even knowing the guy?!
it was jaemin who respected her decision and did leave her be, and at the thought of it, a smile crept up to her face.
"what are you smiling about?" she felt a nudge on her upper arm, looking to her left to see minho suggestively wiggling his eyebrows- much like jaemin.
she shook her head, "oh, nothing.. just thinking about my friends at home. why did you want to see me again?" he looked upfront again and smiled, "dunno. just wanted to spend time with a cute girl and there's one right next door. i thought I'd hit her up"
she remained silent out of shyness, opting to change the topic, "so.. do you go to uni?" "i did, but i dropped out this year- i was studying physics." "damn. i understand why. where did you go for uni?" "me? oh i went to neo arts and science. what about you?"
she got excited at the mention of her university and jumped infront of him with a big smile as they walked through the snow covered streets of their neighborhood "i go there too! for photography!"
his eyes widened. it was hard getting to their university, especially for an arts degree- having to go through top-notch hard entrance exams and needing a good portfolio during high school
"isn't that hard..? getting into an art department-" "pff, it was but-" "maybe you're just nerdy" he shrugged with his conclusion.
thinking of it as a joke, she just laughed it off but she couldn't help but feel like he was discarding her hard work to achieve one of her dreams.
