"What?" She looked a little upset by my reaction.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, "Ali come on."

"He did and it hurt okay."

I dropped the smile, "Ali he was helping me fix the faucet. Mr. Miyagi taught him. And I'm glad he did because Mr. Miyagi wasn't there the other day."

"Still."

I began laughing, "Ali the faucet was broken! You see him every day!"

She rolled her eyes with a sigh, "Fine."

"Fine, what?"

She rolled her eyes again, "Maybe it wasn't that serious."

"You think so?" I laughed again.

"Come on I think our drinks are done."

"Ali it was a fun day." I smiled at her as we walked out of the coffee shop.

She nodded along with what I said, "Well soon me and the girls are going to Golf N' Stuff. Want to join us?"

I nodded, "That would be great, just let me know a date soon."

We began walking to her car when I heard someone call my name.

"Y/n is that you?"

I turned around and smiled at the person behind me, "Landen?!"

He smiled back.

"Wow yeah, I think I should go." Ali laughed.

Landen walked over to us, "It's alright Ali. I will bring her home."

Ali nodded, grinning, "I am sure you will."

"Bye, Ali!"

She waved me off. Inc whetting in her car, she gave me a sly look before driving off.

I sighed turning back to Landen, "Gosh it has been forever!"

He lightly smiled, "I think forever is a bit over the top."

"You think so?"

"I know so."

This made me laugh. It has been a bit since me and Landen have seen each other. I didn't even see him at school or maybe I was just too distracted to notice.

"How about we ride down to the beach? There is a party going on!"

"At this time?" I looked down at my watch. It read around 6."

"Not too bad, but come on!" He pleaded.

I laughed, "Landen I'm not even dressed for the occasion!" After sharing my concerns, he rolled his eyes playfully.

"It's fine! You're wearing shorts and a T-shirt." He made sure I took notice.

I sighed, "Fine, but you owe me."

"Owe you what?" He asked as we began walking to his car.

"I don't know yet. But you do."

He turned back looking forward. He shook his head with a smile on his face, "If you need extra clothes I will give you some." He offered.

"What a gentleman," I remarked playfully.

"Of course."

After a short drive of laughing and joking around, he pulled up to a parking spot in front of the beach. Once we exited the car, the music got way louder.

Landen took my hand, "Careful it's steep." He reminded me.

"Thanks." We stepped carefully down the sandy hill, watching every step we took until making it to the bottom.
