After entering the village Rigurd guided us to a tent prepared for guest while Rimuru went somewhere else for now

Once inside, we waited for a bit before raw foods are given for us to cook it ourselves

After that we were left on our own

The trio immediately cooked their foods as they were they were starving from all that running

Shizu just sighed at them before cooking her food aswell

Seeing her eating through the mask, I decided to ask “How did you do that?”

“... Experience” she said before going back to eating

‘... Whatever, I'll just ask Rimuru’

Speaking of Rimuru, he entered the tent

The trio immediately looked at him with mouth still full of foods, Shizu still calmly eating, While I'm just sitting beside her smirking

Rigurd then introduced him as the leader and he did the “I'm not a bad slime slurp!”

Shizu is surprised while I just chuckle at them

He was also surprised that she would understand that reference, but then notices me not eating

“uhh? Why are you not eating?” he asked

Everyone then put their attention to me aswell

“Was the food not to your liking?” Rigurd asked

“No, I'm just not hungry yet”

Soon, they all finished eating and began talking

We walked around and sees the dwarves, goblins, and direwolves working together

We then found ourselves on top of the hill overlooking the village

“It's funny isn't it?” I started the conversation

“The humans called these guys as the monsters, and yet, they're more peaceful than most humans here”

She went silent for a moment

“I got summoned here a long time ago... There was many explosion in my hometown when suddenly I got engulfed in fire, when I regain my consciousness I could see the one summoned me here Infront of me... He then-” her voice getting weaker the more she speaks

So I hugged her to stop her from continuing her story ‘It'll be bad if she let it all out now...’

I looked behind me and sees Rimuru just behind us so I let go of her

“gasp Slime-san? what are you doing here? how long have you been there?” my tone of voice is surprised but my face is smirking like usual
