"It's like your dancing out of control a little bit. You need to bring it down. Yes?" Ms. Abby asked making me nod.

|My dance was a Lyrical dance called Alice in the Wonderland and I'm protraying Alice. I love my dance because I love watching Alice and the Wonderland with my mom and twin sister so I know this dance will be easy to learn.|Christina Lukasiak|Christi's daughter

"And if everything's big, then nothing's big." Ms. Abby said.

|This week, each girl has the solo to perform. Solos are very difficult, because there's nobody to hid behind out there on stage. It's all about you. I love solo work. I love the one-on-one work either the student. I think every child grows from doing a solo.|Abby Lee Miller|Dance Coach

"Watch that feet! Don't lean on that heel on the jeté." Ms. Abby corrected.

|This week, Christina is doing two solos one to the music, "Rise up," which she competed several weeks ago, and the other one is a new routine called, "Alice in the wonderland|Abby Lee Miller|Dance Coach

I was practicing my solo.

|I love having a solo, and I do the best when I'm dancing alone.|Christina Lukasiak|Christi's daughter

Abby POV.

I was rehearsing Paige's solo.

"Up to the shoulders. "More turn-out in the passé. Easy it. Do that again. Stand up." I said.

|Paige's solo is primarily jazz, with a few gymnastic tumbling passes.|Abby Lee Miller|Dance Coach

"Those are good feet. Good." I said.

|This is my first time doing a solo, and I'm really scared, because I'm gonna be out onstage all by myself.|Paige Hyland|Kelly's daughter

"Get in forced arch. Good girl." I said.

|It's scarier when you're alone, because of you mess up onstage, you... don't really have anyone to look at or anything.|Kelly Hyland|Kelly's daughter

"Front foot on that jeté. Point the feet. Ankles together. Posture." I said.

Christi POV.

All the mom and I went out to lunch.

"Iced tea, no lemon?" The waiter asked.

"And this one's a regular Pepsi." The waiter said.

"Lovely. Thank you." Cathy said.

|Mohan's is a place that we can go and just kind of get out of dance....jail. This time we invited Cathy to come along, because she's new to the group and we wanted to feel like, you know, we were including her in things.|Christi Lukasiak|Dance mom

"So, what'd you guys think of the competition this weekend?" I questioned.

"It was far away. Too far away." Cathy said.

"I mean, we sat there. At least you got to go home." I said.

"You're right, I did." Cathy said.

"Yeah, that wasn't fair." Kelly said.

"My daughter Christina literally cried for several minutes because you didn't stay and support her or the other kids." I said.

"Well, you know what, this is how I feel about that, ladies. We're in this for a different reason, and we don't need to have a cheering section. And we probably will be leaving at the competitions. I'm sorry that it upset your daughter but this is what we have to do." Cathy explained.
