Pictures of them from the beginning of their relationship, to their most recent one hung along her upstairs balcony for Amerie to see. Her heart swelled out, seeing so many gifts that lead her way downstairs alongside the rose petals until she stood looking directly down at Syre who stood at the bottom

"Why you playing shy and acting like you nervous?" He tilted his head, watching her body come down the stairs slowly in the revealing dress she wore.

"Because you make me nervous, stop staring at me." She blushed, lowering her head to watch the way her feet moved slowly atop the rose petals on the stairs.

"Stop staring at the woman imma marry?" He raised an eyebrow, "You glowing, baby. Happiness look good on you, now that you stopped denying that shit."

"You're the cutest ever." She breathed out, seeing him dressed formally in front of her holding an open jewelry box in his hand.

He wanted to give Amerie a full planned out day, but she had an emergency to take care of at her job that took her entire day. She made it clear to Syre he didn't need to do anything or worry about it, and apologized all day despite all the gifts she had planned to give him also.

"Happy Valentine's Day mama, you know I was still doing sum for you. Here you go." He held out an open jewelry box out to Amerie, that crusted all over with diamonds. "Turn around." He requested so he could clasp the necklace over her neck.

"Thank you my love." She smiled once he came back in front of her, allowing him to kiss her lips for the first time all day.

She melted into his hold and his touch, allowing their lips to move slowly and synchronously. The passion exuded came directly between them through the home that only held them, but not for long as they were very soon in his car in such a comfortable silence.

She wanted something so simple, and it was what she requested to begin with for their day...that turned into an evening. She expected just a dinner from him at a restaurant, but her entire body washed over with an unexplainable feeling the second he pulled into his designated parking space at the beach.

"Get out the car mamas, you already in this motherfucka looking like you ready to cry." He chuckled, once getting out of his side of the car.

Amerie watched him walk around to open the door for her, extending his hand to help her out of the car. They didn't say much, as the comfortability of silence let them be for him to lead the way onto the beach. Immediately, Amerie removed her heels to walk the beach with Syre who led the way.

With every step towards the boardwalk he led the way to, so many rose petals and candles filled the private closed down beach he got for them. Amerie's ears flooded with the sounds that came from the live orchestra that played music near the set up she seen more and more clear with the closer they walked. Her heart filled up with so much emotion, finally seeing the beautifully decorated dinner laid out for them.

"Look at you, them pretty eyes just glittering." He joked to Amerie who giggled at his words before he pulled her chair out for her.

"Cause this is so pretty, this is exactly what I wanted." She smiled, letting out such a breath of calmness and relief.

A man wearing a tuxedo appeared for the two with a bottle in hand. "The finest wine for the lovely couple this evening." He greeted them, looking between the two with a nice gaze.
