Swirling ball gowns in classical tune.
Laughter, waltz, and macaroons.
Schubert'z symphony,
Every note feels like catastrophe.

I'm not for elegance,
I'm not for grace.
How to vanish in this place?
I hate the crowd,
My face says it all.
So I ran down the hall.

That's when I saw you wanderin'
In a Belle-like dress.
As if you're lost in the moment,
And now we found each other.

You whispered softly,
"Can we just flee?"
We abandoned the hope of societal norms, conventions unkind,
To chase our freedom and left them all behind.

We really never liked the Victorian Era Hallways,
The oppressive rules they all says.
Hold my hand and let's escape,
Let's go to a place, where our love is safe.
