Sophia's POV

It was the first day of summer vacation and I could not happier. Not that the six months after Elder Pamela's death were bad but went into the new year with a purpose. After we talked as a group we all decided to use our talents to earn money, as a way of getting some independence from our parents. With Kairi's help we all made a second Instagram account strictly for business. Our main account has been transformed into one of an influencer, pictures of our lives and us as a group filled our pages.

Shayloh started working with my mom at her restaurant and has been helping her with her little catering business. Chloe flew out to Paris during Christmas and came back designing clothes every chance she gets. Right now she has a small online store with a variety of clothes, I'm honestly worried about for her health sometimes. Kairi has been improving on her photographs and videos. Even winning a award for her Christmas shoot with us and Sarah who she finally got her hands on. Now people started buying her photos online. As for me my art works have been selling like crazy mostly my neon portraits and glow in the dark landscapes. And to no surprise to anyone Delphine started selling flowers alongside her mom's herbs.

Josh has been working at the local mechanic with Jeff. He even got a shell of a 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat that he brought home. We've been working on it every Sunday, sometimes Paul would stop by and help. He and Sarah had patched things up and he has been stepping up. Daniel embraced his inner nerd and took up programming. Travis surprisingly got in carpentry, we thought he'd do something uptight like his dad but we were far off. Michael started working at the Grill after school and on weekends. And Cole has been producing beats. Even has been using the music room at school to put some of his friends on the tracks.

Maybe that's the main reason why I'm so happy it's summer. No school, no work, hakuna matata. Just me and my friends enjoying ourselves. I've invited Jonathan and Kira but I haven't heard back from them but I hope they'll come.

"REBEL GET OUT HERE I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU!!" Joshua called from outside.

"I'M ON MY WAY GIVE ME A SEC!"

I rushed outside after saving my work. He sounded excited which means it's something interesting. When I got outside it was a shell of a car, a two door by the looks of it.

"It's your early birthday present. A 1967 Ford Shelby GT500. I thought we could work on it tog-"

I tackled him unto the and hugged him tightly then kissed his right cheek.

"You like?"

"I love but I already have a car and the Hellcat isn't finished yet," I said before getting up from off him.

"It's almost finished. With the way we've been working on it everyday with everyone's help it'll been finished by the end of July."

"It's your first car Joshy I just wanted to be perfect."

"It's fine and besides I like working on it with you. It's nice hanging out like we use to."

I blushed a bit and looked away from him. Over the past few months Joshua has gotten for lack of a better word hotter. Sometimes it was hard working on the Hellcat with him, shirtless. It started in February and I don't know why. I've been have some not so innocent dreams about him but I have been trying and most times failing not to think of him that way. I told Kairi about and my loving girlfriend was overjoyed. I swear if I told her I was into bondage, which I am not. She would go nuts but I love that about her. My rebellious nature goes well with her crazy.

"Ok... enough of that smooth talker. It's time to go so go change, get your bag and get back here. I'll go change and pack the food, although Shay will most likely bring more."
