Prologue

Balance.

One word, but can sometimes be a very difficult thing to do. Everything that we do, we are trying to balance things.

However, there are times that you cannot manage to balance those things as one outweighs the other. Unfair, isn't it?

But that's how life goes...

I always try to manage everything, plan it, and keep them on track. I managed to set my priorities. I know my limitations and boundaries. People expects me to handle things the way it should be handled.

I want things to fall perfectly into their right places...

But how come I was the one who fell and shattered into pieces?

In a balance scale, the two objects of equal weight will balance each other out when placed on opposite sides. However, if the objects have different weights, the heavier side will dip down, and the lighter side will rise.

In the battle between love and career, why am I the one left hanging?
