Astrid's pov

Johnny and I sit outside on a bench for a while. I sit back on the bench and look at the sky. For a while we sat there in silence. I look over at him.

" How much does everyone hate me?" I ask without holding back. He looks over at me.

" Nobody hates you." Johnny says. I scoff.

" That's a lie." I say. He nods slowly.

" I know. Sorry for lying to you." Johnny says. I shrug.

" It's fine. So who hates me the most?" I ask.

" Uh I don't know Astrid." He says.

" You're lying." I say back to him. He sighs.

" I need to go to work." He says. I stand up.

" All good. I gotta go anyways." I say and pick up my bag and walk away.

" Astrid wait." He comes in front of me. I look at him and pause.

" I need to go get a house and a job so excuse me." I say and move around him and I run off.

" ASTRID." I hear him call out. I just ignore him.

Once I finally get far away from him where he can't see or follow me I took a deep breath. I look around to see where I am. I realize I'm right in front of the house. I feel my heart jump inside my chest. I feel like it's going to explode on me.

" Hey girl why are you here?" I hear I voice say. That voice sounds familiar too. Damn the first day back and I fucking run in to everyone. I turn around.

" Astrid is that you?" He asks. I nod.

" Hey Dally." I say.

" Are you coming in?" He asks. I shrug.

" Probably not." I say honestly.

" You have to come in A." He says. I feel my heart race again to the nickname he has always called me.

" I um gotta go." I say and turn away to begin to walk away as I wipe the tears away.

" A you can't, you've came all the back here to come back home." He says as he grabs my arm.

Suddenly, the door opens.

" Astrid?" I know that voice. I can never forget that voice.

" Hey Darry." I say.
