ONYX'S P.O.V

It's been a year since my mom died and I am now almost nineteen. I have developed the companies an have learned a lot about the business community. I am currently finishing up some paperwork.

"Mr Onyx, is there anything else that I'm supposed to do?" Alex, my assistant asked me.

"No, you can go have fun at your sister's baby shower. Tell her congratulations for me will you?"

"Yes, thank you."

"No problem, I just want to know what the baby is next time you come to work."

"Alright. Bye." She said leaving my office.

I finished up with the paperwork then headed out after locking up the building. I walked towards the location of the party I saw on Stephanie's story on Instagram which I saw on Alex's phone. She is dating her brother so she keeps tabs on her. I went to a gas station that was on the way there and changed in my car.

I drove to the house and parked at the elementary school since it was down the block

I drove to the house and parked at the elementary school since it was down the block. I walked to the house to see Kyle and Stephanie dancing.

"Hi." A boy with light green hair and green eyes Said.

"Hi, can I help you?"

"Are you looking for someone?"

"No."

"Do you go to high school?"

"No, I homeschooled and graduated last year."

"Do you go to college?"

"No I don't."

"That is cool. I don't want to go to college but my parents are forcing me since my fiance is paying for everything that includes money in my life."

"If you don't mind me asking how old are you?"

"I'm nineteen. What about you?"

"I'm eighteen, my name is Onyx."

"I'm Everest." He told me. Then a big guy with brown hair which was longer on the top shorter around the bottom. (I don't know what that haircut is called.) He had green eyes and seemed quite chill he was wearing cargo pants and a t-shirt. He looked at Everest with longing in his eyes.

He looked familiar. I examined him a bit more. Knox, he was one of my models one of the best.

"Everest, do you know where the bathroom is?" He asked.

"The first door up the stairs." He looked at me.

"Oh, thank you."

"No problem."

"May I ask why you are here."

"I am still a teenager."

"I always forget."

"Everest this is my boss." He told Everest before leaving.

"Oh I guess it's your fault he is so rich."

"That's all him." I informed him. I glanced at the stairs to see Kyle looking at me. "I'm going to go I have things to get done at home." I lied to Everest.

"Alright."

"See you at the BBQ? In a few weeks?"

"Maybe."

"You better come."

"I'll try."

I left walking to my vehicle. I drove to my penthouse, went to my wine cabinet, got a bottle of red wine got a glass some cheese and baloney, cut it up, made a sandwich and a bowl of instant noodles and brought it to the living room and started eating and drinking. Watching a TV show.

"Why did you have to die?" I yelled at the tv drunk and crying,  tears streaming down my face, knowing it wasn't about the character that had just died.

°°°

When I woke up I was on the couch there was a mess on the coffee table and I felt like shit. I slowly got up went to the bathroom took a shower then went to my bed naked and wet. Not caring that I was making a mess. Looking at the ceiling I thought about the past year. I was always working and haven't really had time for me to take a break. I was fine with that I didn't have to think about my mom or about my dad. I was thankful for my mom that she gave me the companies so I had enough money I had more than enough.

A knocking at the door got me out of my daydreaming. I put on some shorts that were on the floor.

I then went to my door to see a man that looked familiar and was older than me
