POV: Taylor

As the final bell rang, signifying the end of the school day, we gathered at the back of the school, ready for our ice skating adventure. To everyone's surprise, except for Lee, two motorcycles were parked there. The boys looked at us, their eyes widening in shock and curiosity.

Ruby wasted no time, hopping onto her motorcycle and securing her helmet. I followed suit, retrieving an extra helmet I had brought for Felix. Holding it out to him, I said, "Here, Felix. Take this helmet so you can ride with us

Felix hesitated for a moment, seemingly caught off guard by the unexpected turn of events. However, a smile slowly formed on his face, and he took the helmet from me, putting it on with a newfound excitement. With a nod of gratitude, he mounted the motorcycle alongside us.

As we prepared to embark on our journey, we waved goodbye to our friends, their expressions a mix of surprise and curiosity. The engines roared to life, and with a surge of adrenaline, we rode off, the wind rushing through our hair.

The exhilaration of the ride filled me with a sense of freedom and adventure. Glancing at Felix out of the corner of my eye, I couldn't help but feel a connection growing between us, intensified by the shared experience of riding together.

After a thrilling ride, we arrived at the ice skating rink. Ruby and I parked our motorcycles and removed our helmets, our faces flushed with excitement. As we dismounted, I suddenly remembered something.

"Oh no, I completely forgot!" I exclaimed, a hint of panic in my voice. "I was planning to go back to my house to get my ice skating gear, but I just realized that I left some of my stuff here the last time we came."

Ruby chuckled, patting my shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, Taylor. We can sort that out later. I'll help you find your gear when we have time. Right now, let's focus on getting the ice ready and setting up the music."

Relieved, I nodded in agreement. "You're right, Ruby. We can take care of it later. I'll go unlock the rink and start preparing the ice on both sides. You can join me once you've filled Felix in on our upcoming competition."

Ruby's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh, I almost forgot to mention! We have a competition coming up, Taylor. It's going to be an incredible experience."

A surge of anticipation coursed through me. "That's amazing, Ruby! I can't wait to compete and show our skills on the ice."
