This is the Epilogue of this book. I want to thank you all for reading this. But wait! This is just the start of our mc's journey.

Epilogue 

I still feel exhausted from my last battle. It even caused me a severe injury because of strong attacks from the enemy. Yet, I did my best to fight him despite the fact that he’s far stronger than me. 

I am a human after all, but I won’t ever look down on myself. I will never let their insults go right. I will never let myself look weak to others, especially to my friends. 

Even if I lose the title of being a hunter, I will still rise up to fight as long as I live. 

I am still Charlotte Claire Naomi, the woman who could stand for herself. A woman who could fight for freedom and peace, and a woman who once called as ‘Humanity Saviour’

I woke up in an unfamiliar room. Full of lights that dazzled me so I immediately covered my eyes with my bare hands. It was then I realized I was wearing a black and white gloves. 

It is my way to hide the mark from my right hand. 

Tumingin ako sa paligid ko. I was expecting na kasama ko sina Chandler at Kaycee lalo pa’t malala ang lagay nilang dalawa. Pero nagkamali ako. 

I felt a bit of panic when I didn’t see them on the other bed. I even forced myself to get up and went down from my bed to find them. 

“C-chandler,” utal ko at sinubukang humakbang. Pero ilang hakbang pa lang ang nagagawa ko nang tumumba na ako sa sahig. “K-kaycee…!” 

Sinubukan ko ulit na tumayo at maglakad. Ramdam ko ang sarili ko na maiiyak pero pinipigilan ko lang. 

“Huwag kang oa,” kako pinupunasan ang mga luha sa pisngi ko. “Nandyan lang sila. Nandyan lang sila at nagpapahinga.” pagpapakalma sa sarili ko. 

Dulot ng pagkirot ng mga sugat sa binti ko, wala na akong nagawa kung hindi ang sumandal sa pader. Ngunit patuloy pa rin ako sa paglakad para hanapin ang dalawa kong kaibigan. 

Chandler, Kaycee.. 

“What an idiot.” napakuyom ang kamao ko nang marinig ko ang boses na nagsalita mula sa likuran ko. “Injured ka pa pero pinupwersa mo na ang sarili mo na maglakad… o gumalaw-galaw manlang.” 

“I’m not like you.” Words that released from my mouth. 

“Yes, hindi talaga tayo magkatulad. Tao ka, at ako ay isang hamak na bampira lang kung ibabase sa mga sasabihin mo.” 

Natahimik ako. Hindi pa rin ako nagtangka na linungin ang bampira na kumakausap sa ‘kin ngayon. Nagulat pa ako nang bumigay ang mga binti ko kaya naman ay napaupo na lang ako. 

“If you’re searching for your friends, then too bad for you.”

That’s when I looked up at him. I caught Lhiam looking at me too. As usual, he’s in a serious facial expression. 

“What do you mean?” Tanong ko. 

“5 days…” 

Bahagya akong naguluhan sa binulong niya. Sumandal pa ito at tumingala na parang wala lang itong sinabi. 

“5 days?” 

He let out a heavy sigh and then stared at me. “You are unconscious for at least 5 days, and since the day that Ethan Thaddeus was completely resurrected, everything has been in chaos now.”
