CHAPTER 5

"i'm sorry about that abrupt departure tonks, i will explain why i left in a moment, but first please collect teddy" i said

"why" she asked

"you will see, don't worry it isn't dangerous in fact we aren't even leaving this house, this is something that both of us will need i think" i said

"alright harry, i'll trust you, but once whatever this is, is done, we are continuing our earlier conversation" tonks said

"as you wish" i said 'if you even remember' i thought she soon went to collect teddy and returned to the sitting room

"before we begin, i want you to emotionally brace yourself" i said

"why" she said looking at him

"because this is going to likely be an emotional roller coaster, you've trusted me with your son please trust me on this" i said, she gave him a nod, before taking a deep breath\

"i'm ready" she said, i nodded taking off the ring, and spinning it three times

"harry, you really shouldn't be using the stone, you know this" remus said disappointedly

"remus, i didn't even know i had access to the stone, and if you were watching me like i hope you are you would know that" i said

"indeed i do" he said with a sigh before turning to his wife "hello dora" remus said

"remus, but how, your supposed to be dead" nymphadora said, tears were streaming down her face, she now understood why harry said this would be an emotional roller coaster

"i am dead, the stone harry is using is a legendary artifact, he is using it because he doesn't know what to do, what you are asking him, is quite a lot, unfortunately for him i will be asking for even more but first, i think we should talk, i am sorry for leaving you, i'm sorry for everything that happened while we were married" remus said

"i was stubborn remus, that was my fault, and mine alone, you told me we wouldn't work, you were right, you tried, i tried, but you were too wounded, too closed off to let me in, though i am still quite furious that when things got hard your bright idea was to run to harry, instead of staying with your wife and son, but in the end we both made a mistake, i'm sorry i forced myself on you" tonks said, remus shook his head

"despite what you may think, that was by far the best time of my life, i am more grateful to you then you know, and i learned something quite important in my passing, teddy will have all the benefits of my affliction, without the affliction itself, he won't become a werewolf but he will have the enhanced abilities i did, plus your metamorphmagus abilities, making him quite the achiever, and if i have my way, he will be even more, but that will be my discussion with harry, assuming you'll give me this one last thing" remus said

"yes remus, on the condition that you will allow me, my wish in turn" nymphadora said

"dora, if it were anyone else, i'd probably be a little upset, but the person you chose can't be anymore deserving, you both have my blessing" remus said

"then you have mine, in whatever you'll ask harry to do" nymphadora said, remus smiled

"harry, i want you to blood-adopt teddy" remus said, i blinked, sirius had offered me that once, but before i could say anything he continued

"i want you to completely blood-adopt him, i don't want him to have a drop of lupin blood in his veins" remus continued

"REMUS" nymphadora shouted

"dora, you gave me your blessing, and this is what i want" remus said

"but why" i asked

"my parents abandoned me, harry, i am just as much an orphan as you are, james and sirius were my brothers my family, i was gonna ask you to do this regardless on if i died or not, simply because i don't want my son to be a lupin i want him to be a potter, please" remus asked, i looked towards nymphadora

"i gave my blessing, so if that what he wants" nymphadora said sadly

"alright remus, i'll blood-adopt him" i said

"thank you, theodore edward potter, it has a nice ring to it, i have to go dora, harry needs to speak with one more person about his predicament, that conversation needs to be private, goodbye dora" remus said, as he disappeared, as he did so nymphadora began to sob, i moved towards her wrapping my arms around her and doing my best to comfort her, as she cried for a good two hours

"harry, remus said you needed privacy for your next talk with the dead, and i need a moment of my own, so i'll be in my room, can you come get me when your done" nymphadora asked, i nodded hesitantly as i let her go, worried for her 

"i'll put teddy down for a nap" tonks said as she got up

"i'll see you in a moment" i said, as she left for the stairs i cast muffliato then summoned dumbledore

"harry, my boy, i am not surprised you are calling me, in fact you have not ceased in amazing me" the headmaster said

"why do you say that" i asked

"you show true mastery of the stone, only using it when you have a dilemma you must solve, as with nymphadora and remus, and i will say, your in for a surprise in that regard, but i digress, you called me for something much more urgent" the headmaster said

"what do i do with the deathly hallows" i asked

"considering you won't use them, my recommendation, is to move to the london gringotts bank and place the wand in vault sixty seven, and and place the stone in your family vault in america, that will keep them separate, and allow for the stone to be used once more when the time comes, better yet, i would actually recommend placing the wand not in gringotts but in hogwarts, tell no one you've done this not even miss granger and mister weasley, and forget it is there" dumbledore said

"where in hogwarts" i asked

"why where secrets are kept of course" the headmaster said mysteriously but i knew what he meant, very few could get into that chamber, so it was smart to place the wand there
