i remember a day from my childhood that felt like a dream. strong winds, dust all over the street, tangerine like color spread across the sky. i close my eyes and there i am again, in my childhood home with my cousins, playing hide and seek. everyone goes to hide but I run to my grandma's house, fighting the winds like I'm some kind of hero. I run and run until I reach her house, rest my head on her lap and pray never to be found.
