Set POV

After seeing her I can't stop trying to find her, I feel so desperate to see her..

Walking around this stupid temple wont do anything she's clearly hidden by Ra for a reason but how do I break this curse, my thoughts were interrupted by a voice

 "uncle, may I have a word? Perhaps" my annoying Nephew spoke in his regular formal manner "What do you want, why are you bothering" I growled, yet he came closer

"I heard that you forefit the event"

"Of course I did, I no longer need to waste my time on these stupid events Horus, listen to me I have to find her shes-" I cut myself off 

"You don't need to know" I tried pushing him out of the room

"I know you want revenge on my father it's clear, I want to help you please" he pleaded  and trapped my hands in his

 "let me go, you're wasting my time here!"

I snatched my hands away from him 

"I know where Y/N is uncle, that's who your talking about isn't it however we have to leave, they will trap you here forever for going against the rules" 

I whip my head to glare in his eyes "Tell me where she is right now!" I growl

"Look uncle we have to leave, trust me she will follow she just has to complete something first" he mumbled 

"What are you talking about.." I questioned 

-Y/N POV-

"Catch" you yell and threw a long polearm which had very fitting patterns trailing down it, after lessons with Shu combat was one of your strong points, Anubis was quick to catch to but tripped over the landing 

"Balance is key!" you demanded and he confidently picked it up and changed his stance

 "Come at me" you smirked and he quickly charged at you, you managed to block every single hit and knocked him on the ground "Focus!" you shout

After at least 10 more times you finally snap "Anubis FOCUS you have to protect yourself when I cant.." you drop to your knees and sob 

"Y/N whats going on?" 

-FLASH BACK-

Another vision again.. I sigh and pick myself up

 "you" I heard a voice 

"you will collect my treasures" the voice commanded someone, I quickly hid behind a corner  as they began to spoke

"You will retrieve Y/N and Set AS  a pair do you hear me?" my heart stopped hearing my name 

"Anubis" the voice hit me it was Osiris talking to Anubis, what cruel things does he want with that poor child, whats going on here... 

"Y/N" an unknown voice calls my name and I came out of my hiding spot

 "Anubis! You look so old" I nervously chuckled, his body was definitely jacked and had long black hair 

"Look at me" he weakly adjusts his mask so you can see his face, he was looking down with his beautiful long eyelashes drooped, all I can do is examine his face, his skin was pale no sign of colour and his eyes were red from the tears he cried 

"Oh my poor Anubis" his body went weak and he collapsed in my arms, his head leaning on my shoulder "This hurts.." he chuckles but still his voice was cracked 

"I wont let him do this to you.." you hug him tighter but see his weight getting heavier "Anubis please don't leave me" I no longer can hold this weight and we both fall on the ground, body in my arms

"No No I cant do this.." I sob

-PRESENT SET POV-

"My son.." I whispered, my tone was somber, I cant think of what cruel things Osiris could do to my son although I trust Y/N he's just way too powerful over her, she'll need all the help she can

"We have to leave now" I yell clutching onto horus, about to jump into the sky until he grabbed my waist pulling me down, I was about to punch the hell out of him for stopping me 

"We should leave in secret Uncle" he whispers back, as much as I hate him he's right.

We end up at the final doo, wait what if he was lying too me? Is he trying to steal y- "Uncle trust me for Y/N and Anubis" his voice was soft yet stern, with eyes barely visible, these confusing feelings I cant trust anyone anymore.

"Are you ready to go?" he asked me with hands filled with bags for the journey to who knows where! This stupid birdhead doesn't tell me anything.

"Yeah sure" he trys to grab my hand but I pull it away just in time "Nice try" I fulfill my pride and crossed my arms however he quickly scooped me into his arms and began to fly into the long dessert "How dare you!" I exclaimed and punched his chest lightly "I will put you down when you learn to be quiet" he said quietly "What did you say bird head?" I growl "I said-" I punched him again so he's quiet.

-Y/N POV-

"Anubis there's something I've been keeping from you for a while" he just stood still "I've been having these visions and no they arent good but I know it will happen its like someone is trying to tell me something but I haven't yet figured it out I promise I will but its not the right time.. you have to escape him" A sudden shake of the ground quickly averted our attention 

"Come on I have a plan but I cannot help you, you must help yourself at this point.." I whipped my head around, I knew his fate was inevitable 

I rushed and grabbed his little palm in mine, quickly running down the corridors before anyone looked for us "I'm not scared of these kind of things but what scares me is why are u helping me?" he asked while running, I couldn't apprehend what to say to him

"I'm helping you because I want you to live in peace Anubis, It's simply a shame that things must happen during a happy moment" I slightly chuckle trying to lighten the mood however it is impossible in this chasing moment.

"Here have this" I gave his signature spear he trains with but a newer and matching one "Yes, I had It custom made and was going to give it later on but there might never be a later on! I have mine too!"

 he looked at me getting tired "I can't run any longer!" he shly said slowing down "Jump on my back" Luckily all that training boosted my stamina so I quickly ran down another corridor after another 7 minutes of running we finally reached an exit. 

"Hey you!" one of the workers yell from behind "Come here right now!" I panic not knowing what to do however there's no time for a plan, he comes charging at us, I quickly move to the side grabbing Anubis from my back over my shoulder 

"Y/N!" Anubis barely points being upside dow, he spotted another one "I'm not going to start fighting it will make us spot out" 

"Whos that on her shoulder!" another one shouts, a wave of terror floods through my body "Cover ur face!" he did as told and I quickly used the air beneath me to boost my jump, landing on the wall of the outside I quickly ran across it and ended up in the abyss of the desert
