The grab on my shoulder felt familiar in a way. I recognized the pressure and the texture of the hand.
It was by best friend! Her name's Nia and we've been good friends for a long time. She was a friend from my childhood and she was here with us! "Nia? Is that you?" I asked. "I wonder who." Nia said in her recognizable high pitched voice. I turn around to see her. "So this is where you went for vacation." "Yeah, I didn't expect you here what are you doing?". Ley didn't really hear us because she was talking to the seller. Nia and I had a conversation for a while before Ley was done with her buying. Nia said her goodbyes and left. Ley asked "Who was that girl? She has pretty hair." I told her "That's Nia my childhood best friend. She dyed parts of her hair a light shade of blue because she lost a bet between us." Ley said "Well good thing she lost that bet because her hair's so nice!".
We walked out of the big shopping center and Ley was still holding my hand. It seemed like she didn't want to let go of me. Ley moved closer and closer until she was right next to me. Her body was surprisingly hot despite it being the winter time.
We walked back to the hotel and went up the elevator. While in the elevator, Ley asked me "Hey, serious question... Do you like anyone?". That question had me scared for my life because the person who I did like was standing right infront of me!! I told her "No one right now, why?" Ley said "I don't know just some random thing I thought of." We walked to our hotel room and opened the door. Nico and Carmel were asleep despite us giving Nico chocolate earlier. We decided that we would just also fall asleep since it was still early in the morning. We both hopped on the bed and Ley lied so close beside me. She turned to face me and said "Are you not gonna hug me again?" I hugged her to sleep and before I knew it I also fell asleep.
