Claire and Catherine:

"Hey Cathrine can I ask you a personal question?" Claire asked

"Yes you can Claire." Catherine replied

"If you met a very persistent and annoying commoner what would you do?" Claire asked

Um I probably would run away from them.

"Why Cathrine?" Claire asked

"N-No reason Claire." Cathrine replied as she got embarrassed

"I'm sorry for asking you a question like that." Claire said

"It's no problem Claire. I'm glad you are willing to open up and share more of yourself with me." Catherine said

"I'm sorry I couldn't give you a
better answer, Claire."Cathrine said

"No you gave me a good answer Cathrine." Claire said

"So are you going to the ball with Prince Thane?" Cathrine asked

"Y-Yeah I am." Claire said with some disappointment in her voice

"W-What's wrong Claire!" Cathrine asked

"I-I um just want a certain person to come with me to the ball with me." Claire said

"Who are they Claire?" Cathrine asked

"I-It's....Her name is Rae Taylor." Claire replied

"Oh you mean that really popular, smart, kind, and a very amazing Commoner to almost everyone at this school." Cathrine said

"Yes that's her. Although amazing isn't a word I would use to describe her." Claire said

"Did you say something, Lady Claire?" Cathrine asked

"No not at all." Claire said

"Oh yeah before I forget someone asked me about you earlier." Cathrine said

"Who was it?" Claire asked

"Some strange girl I don't know her name but she insisted to see you in private." Cathrine replied

"Oh ok well where is this person?" Claire asked

"How rude for you to forget about me Claire." Manaria replied

"S-Sister is that you?" Claire asked

"Hello Claire, I'm here now so now that commoner problem of yours will be over she won't bother you anymore while I'm here." Manaria replied

Claire's eyes were shining so brightly that both Manaria and Cathrine had to cover their eyes.

"So there's going to be a ball I hear.

"Can I at least ask for one dance at least from my beautiful Claire?"Manaria asked

"Y-Yes of course you can Sister." Claire replied

"It's settled then so long my beautiful Claire." Manaria said

"Yes it is Sister." Claire said with a big smile on her face

"I'll see you at the ball tonight." Manaria said

"Yes you will Sister." Claire said

"I'll go now." Cathrine said

"Wait Cathrine aren't you going to the ball?" Claire asked

"No I'm not too many people. Plus no one would want to dance with me anyway."
Cathrine replied

"Don't say that Cathrine." Claire said

"I'm sorry Claire I would just get in your way and become a burden anyway." Cathrine said

"C-Cathrine is there anything I can do for you?"
Claire asked

"No nothing at all Claire. Just go to the ball and have fun without me."Cathrine replied

"Well ok if that's how you really feel Cathrine." Claire said

After talking with her roommate Cathrine Claire headed to Rod's dorm so she could discuss with Rod what Rae said to her.
