It's been years
since I started looking for
someone, something
to make me feel home,
and it's been years
since I gave up on that thought
and started looking for it
in the mirror
hoping that
the home, the peace
it's all there in me
but it's been years
since i gave up on that
and again, started looking for
someone who feels pity
for my vulnerable self
and it's been years
since I realized
that I'm stuck
in this loop
there's no way out
but there was no way in either
I can't get out
but I didn't choose moving in either
but it doesn't matter now
because I'm stuck in this loop forever.
