Dilo jerked out of sleep in the middle of the night because he heard tapping on the window on the other side of the room. "Aiden!" He strongly whispered in fear. Aiden stirred a bit in his sleep and then pulled the pillow over his head, "it's probably just the wind." Aiden spoke sleepily as he tried to reassure his younger brother without fully waking up. The same soft voice from Aiden's past spoke from the window "It's cold out here." Said the familiar voice as the tapping got louder. A female face looked inside the window staring at Dilo.

Aiden heard the voice and perked up a bit. He looked around and saw the face in the window. He groaned softly and laid back down, covering his head again. "Just ignore it and it'll go away." He stated that he was too tired to deal with anything right now. Dilo lays back down facing away from the window. But the tapping did not stop. Dilo was shaking and trying to go to sleep.

The shaking of the motel bed Dilo was lying on caused Aiden to sigh as he glanced over at his brother. "I haven't let anything get you yet and I won't tonight." He stated reassuringly as he tried to get him to calm down. All Dilo did was nod in response. "But the voice." He said quietly. He didn't remember much of his parents but he remembered his mother's voice.

Aide nodded, "Yes I know it sounds like Mom. But remember it's not her." He said as he looked at Dilo. Scooting over a bit on his bed to offer his brother to lay with him if he wanted to. Something he did often when Dilo was scared or upset. "Could she still be alive?" He asked as he stood. Aiden listened to the question that he'd heard a few times now. This wasn't the first time the voice had resurfaced.

He knew it was unlikely since it had been nearly twenty years now. "She would have come looking for us." He stated as he adjusted in the bed and watched his brother as he stood up. "But what if she is? What if she looked and is still looking for us.... She could still be out there..." Dilo stated as he began to sob as his tears messed up his black makeup that was surprisingly not smudged till now.

Aiden frowned softly at the younger boy's words. He knew the outcome of their parents surviving that fire was slim. From what people had said they wouldn't have even had time to get out. "Even if she was still looking for us, we've been moving around a lot." He stated as he saw his brother's tears from the sobs. This caused him to sit up and open his arms up to his brother for him to come to sit with him.

Dilo sat with him and hugged him. "I miss her.." He said softly even though he barely knew her. Aiden nodded softly, "so do I." He replied as he wrapped his arms around Dilo as he came to sit with him. He rubbed his back reassuringly as he watched over him. The sun started to come out and Dilo ordered food because he was in a sad mood. "What food do you want?" He asked as he sniffled.

Aiden watched his brother pick up his phone to order food, gently resting his chin on Dilo's shoulder. "I'll eat anything as long as I get my coffee." He stated as he looked at his brother, glad that he was able to get him calmed down enough to where he had stopped shaking. He knew that he always had a protective aura around him. "What kind of coffee?" Dilo asked as he ordered breakfast. Aiden smiled a bit as he relaxed a bit against the headboard. "Just black." He stated as he watched Dilo order them breakfast. Dilo ordered the coffee. "It will be here in 30 minutes." He said as he looked out the window where the creature was.

Nodding Aiden closed his eyes to relax, his arms still around his brother, but not as tightly now. Dilo saw some residue of sorts on the window ledge. "What on earth?" Dilo stood getting out of his elder brother's embrace walking to the window. He saw that it was black residue and blood. The feel of Dilo moving caused Aiden to open his eyes again and then saw him looking at the residue. He got up and went over to investigate also. Touching It, mostly cause he didn't care over the past twenty years now. "Told you it wasn't mom." He said as he went into the bathroom and wiped his hand off.
