Devale: I swear I'm going to leave if you don't stop fucking screaming. I mean it Crystal.
Crystal stops screaming but she can't stop the tears from falling. I'm sorry she says as she heads back to her bed.
Devale: Why are you walking away from me, we're having a conversation.
Crystal: No we're not, I'm trying to, but you're lying and keeping secrets from me. I'll call her parents tomorrow to see what they know. I'm trying to help you, don't you see that?
Devale sighs and throws his hands up, you want me to make something up to tell you when I'm telling you the truth.
Crystal: Don't act dumb. What happened after I left?
Devale stayed silent for a full minute until Crystal got frustrated and walked off.
Crystal called Angela to ask if she minded bringing him home now. Devale interrupted the conversation to say he would go get him.
Crystal: Absolutely not, I would hate for my child to end up in the ER because you driving pissed off with him in the car.
Angela: Uhm I'm going to get him ready, text me and let me know. I don't mind bringing him though.
Devale: Wait so now you saying I caused the accident, do you really believe that?
Crystal: No that's not what I meant.
Devale: So what did you mean? It sounded to me like you saying I'm a neglectful father.
Crystal: I didn't say that, you know what I can tell this is about to get out of hand. It doesn't matter. You don't trust me, and you're being selfish.
Devale: Selfish?!
Crystal:If you did something that's going to take you away from me and leave me with two babies that's very fucking selfish!
Devale: I'm done, it's no getting through to you. Tell Ang I'll be there in 30 minutes.
Devale walked out and Crystal climbed into bed. She had over exerted herself and was tired. Her body needed rest, she needed to slow her mind and her fears down.
Devale calmed down in the 1 hour ride there and back. He just didn't want Crystal to stress and trust him to protect her at all costs.
He took off Adens jackets and sleeper leaving him in his t-shirt and Paw Patrol undies. He put Aden in the bed with Crystal.
He tool a shower and climbed into bed. Him and Aden shifted at the same time causing Crystal to wake up. She needed to use the restroom, she tried to get out of bed without waking Aden.
Devale: Do you need help?
Crystal ignored him, she went to the restroom and climbed back in bed unassisted.
Devale: Sighs while rubbing Adens back who is not fully asleep. Goodnight Crystal.
Crystal turned on the TV for white noise until she fell asleep. Soon as she was almost out she heard the newscaster voice.
Newscaster: Breaking news, the body of missing Chelsea Dianne Smith has been found. The police is not releasing any information at all. Sources close to the victim did verify this is an active homicide investigation. Stay tuned.
Crystal: Look at that, secret is out. Now do you want to tell me what happened?
