The next morning he got up for school, as per usual. Get woken up, get ready for the day, pack his bag, tell his siblings goodbye and meet up with Heuningkai to walk to school together, a simple, boring, Monday morning in September.
"You seem like you're in a good mood this morning Kai?" Beomgyu questioned at the smiley other. "Any reason in particular?" He added.
"Not really, just happy for some reason." The other answered simply. It wasn't necessary new for Heuningkai to be in a good mood randomly.
The two walked upon the school, talking about whatever whilst going along with their morning walk. They soon walked over to their friends in which the two of them spotted in the distance, except something felt... off. There were stares and whispers coming from the school, not towards him or Heuningkai, to one specific friend. Felix.
"Guess Hyuka and I were correct about Felix being dead when we come back to school. Meh, don't listen to them they're just jealous because you hung around Changbin for two days." Jeongin said nonchalantly.
"Easy for you to say, Lix isn't the type of person who can just not mind anything they're saying, look at the poor dude right now." Beomgyu remarked, turning to a not well looking Felix."Where's Changbin anyways?" Beomgyu then questioned.
"He had to do gang stuff, pretty much the whole school knows, how are you this clueless Gyu..." Jeongin answered, sighing at Beomgyu's lack of information.
"Well in that case, yeah Felix is screwed today! I'd suggest just going home or something." Beomgyu joked. "Wrong time for jokes, sorry." He said just a bit after.
Soon the school bell rang as the students began flooding the halls. By the time the group got to their lockers, of course there were sticky notes with words of bad targeted to Felix due to him hanging out with Changbin.
Crazy, right?
Jeongin quickly took them down though the elder had already read what many had said. Afterwards, Felix didn't say anything to any of the three.
Beomgyu, Felix and Heuningkai all shared a look.
One of worry for their friend.
They then began to grab their things for class and put it off until later. Classes didn't stop for them sadly.
When they were sitting in the class, the only topic anyone was talking about was Felix and Changbin.
"Cant people mind their own business?" Beomgyu whispered to Jeongin.
"I know, right? It's stupid people are going crazy over Changbin making a friend." Jeongin whispered back to Beomgyu before their teacher walked in, silencing them all and beginning his lecture.
By the time lunch came around, there were more letters on Felix's locker. Jeongin, again, quickly tore them down. "Don't listen to what they're saying Felix. They're just jealous idiots." He assured the other, though his words weren't taken so seriously by Felix.
The notes Felix had read were swirling his head as he and his friends walked to the cafeteria.
"You know, what if they're right? What if Changbin is just trying to kill me? Haha..." Felix finally spoke, earning looks of disbelief and concern on his friend's faces.
"You know that isn't true, why would he act like this with you? Jeez, you're stupid Lix..." Heuningkai sighed, taking a bite out of his sandwich.
"I agree, they're just trying to get to you." Beomgyu agreed.
"Well it's obviously working."
The rest of their day was practically the same. All Beomgyu, Jeongin and Heuningkai could really do was hope that the next day would be alright.
And maybe a day to scold Changbin as well.
