Students were sitting in their classroom as their last class of the day began. Mr. Park gave them an assignment that was due by the end of their class as he explained to be a worksheet that shows how well you understand the subject and what has been learned from the past few years.
Beomgyu obviously with being the top of his grade sped through the worksheet with ease, well at least until he messed up on his paper and just had to be unfortunate enough to not have an eraser. He looked around his for possible people who had a spare eraser, he hoped that either Felix or Jeongin had one but soon remembered that they wrote in pen. Unfortunately for him, the person sitting in front of himself was also writing in pen. What is it with people and writing in pen? He glanced over at Yeonjun and noticed the latter had a regular pencil.
Great. He thought to himself, hoping that he wouldn't be murdered asking for something as simple as an eraser.
"Uh... Yeonjun?" He asked as he tapped on the others desk. Yeonjun soon looked up at the other from whatever he was doing with a slightly irritated look.
"Sorry.. but do you have an eraser I could borrow by chance?" Beomgyu asked politely.
"Yeah. I do." He answered firmly, not lowering his voice enough for the teacher to not hear.
"Yeonjun, why are you talking in my class after I specifically told you all that this is silent work time and not a social hour? Detention after school."
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck I'm so dead I got him detention for asking for an eraser, I'm actually done for. Oh my god oh my god. Beomgyu thought to himself, freaking out as Yeonjun simply rolled his eyes.
"Uh- sir, I was actually just asking him for an eraser, it's not his fault for speaking it's mine!" Beomgyu spoke on impulse.
"Oh well looks like we have two students enrolled in todays after school detention. Detention for you too Beomgyu."
He sighed to himself not knowing why he just did that. He noticed that there was now an eraser sitting upon his desk, Beomgyu glanced at the person next to him who went back to scrolling on his phone, a small smile placed upon his face.
Beomgyu quickly used the eraser and attached a small note to the eraser, it wrote thanks :) -Beomgyu, placing it the eraser back on Yeonjun desk.
Yeonjun didn't know why, but he slightly smiled upon reading the letter and ultimately decided to actually show up to one of his detentions to see this Beomgyu person and how he acted. He didn't like Beomgyu one bit, he was just curious as to why he stood up for him.
The school bell soon ran as students including Beomgyu walked up to Mr. Parks desk to turn in their papers.
"Beomgyu! Did you seriously just score yourself a detention for standing up for the Yeonjun? The one and only class president? Getting himself a detention? The top student-"
"I get it Felix! And maybe I did. It was my fault for getting him detention anyways." Beomgyu shrugged.
"See you in your death bed Beomgyu!" Jeongin joked as they all split up for the day, Beomgyu walking to his locker to put away his things and walk to a room he never thought he'd go to; the detention room.
He walked inside and noticed nobody else was there, nobody but Yeonjun and now him.
Well shit. Beomgyu thought to himself, sitting on the opposing side of the room as the other, wanting to maintain a "safe" distance, if that was even a thing with being stuck in a room alone with the Yeonjun.
The detention teacher soon waltzed through the door, Beomgyu could already see her strict aura. He knew that this wasn't going to be a good way to spend the next hour of his life.
