I kept mulling over Cherry's words from the other day about ways to make Roman break off this engagement. Every notion that came to mind, I scribbled down immediately.

Arranged marriages are so scary. Despite feeling like I might still be in love with Tyler, I'm not sure I want to be with him anymore. Maybe I'm just attached to the idea of being in love.

As far as it is Roman I don't think he's a man who even knows the spelling of love. I heard from Lexi he's a dangerous man. Once he even cut a man's hand for writing his name wrong. I don't know how much of it is true since it came from Lexi. Lexi has quite the imaginative flair when it comes to Roman.

"Alright, attention everyone." Mrs Lu, our creative arts professor said, "You guys seeing the stones placed in front of you. You have to carve the given stone and make a sculpture that resonates with your personal definition of beauty and desire. This competition will lead to diverse and unique interpretations, showcasing the individual perspectives and creativity of the students. The most exceptional piece will earn the chance to be showcased at a prestigious national art exhibition." She finished with a huff. "You can start in five minutes."

The room buzzed with excitement as everyone eagerly reached for their tools.

"I've managed to snag tickets for the upcoming Taylor Swift concert next month. I'm beyond excited about it!" Myra exclaimed standing next to me.

"Really? That's amazing." I said excitedly. The dream of us best friends to go to Taylor Swift's concert was finally coming true.

"We should let Cherry know that too." She quickly pulled out her phone and texted her, "I bet she will start dancing in middle of her class."

Cherry was a literature major and an author of her upcoming best selling book. She loved writing dark romance.

"Be quiet, girls." Mrs. Lu Said raising a brow, "I guess you have come up with something you gonna make?"

Oops

"We're working on it, Mrs. Lu." I answered while grabbing my tools.

Lexi came from behind us and dropped his arms around me and Myra, "Yo! Have you come up with something you find most beautiful and desirable?"

"I haven't." I told him. Myra also shook her head.
"What about you?"

He gave it a thought and said, "I think I'm gonna go with Jenny's tits."

"And he's going to be the winner." Jenny strolled over, her blonde hair swaying with each step. Well..if our professor was a sucker for big tits then there's a chance. "Babe, look, I got a cut on my finger." She displayed a small scratch on her delicate finger to him.

"Oh my god, somebody call the ambulance." Lexi said.

"Aww, thank you, but it's just a scratch. Not even bleeding, see?" She looked at Lexi with uncertainty. "But if you could help me with the stone carving, that would be great, babe."

"Of course, babe." And just like that, they were off.

Myra and I were engrossed in sculpting when the door abruptly swung open, and the entire class went silent.

"I sense a headache coming," Myra murmured beside me.

My gaze widened as I beheld the 6-foot-tall figure striding toward me, his whiskey eyes locking onto mine.

"What are you doing here?" I blurted, surprised. All eyes were on him, even the professor's, as if he were a museum exhibit. In that moment, I observed his striking appearance: a perfectly tailored black Armani suit that accentuated his sculpted physique and impeccably gelled brown hair.
