Summer Clarke didn't usually think before jumping straight into action. Like, there's plenty of things she'd change in her past and tell herself to take a fucking breather before doing anything. Because while she loved the song Skin, maybe the timing hadn't been great and a little petty, even if her and Olivia were fine now. And, yeah, breaking up with Kit because of how busy her schedule was with touring was maybe something she could of taken another night to sleep on.
But maybe her dumbest, no thoughts, head so completely empty, thing she's ever done was release a Christmas EP with songs all about her ex boyfriend... who has a new girlfriend.
Not her finest moment, she'll admit. But Summer had no real intentions of anything happening with her ex anyways. In all honesty, she was just doing what all her favourite pop princesses did aka write a Christmas ep and it just so happened to have some silly songs written about her ex boyfriend. If anything, it was pretty presumptuous of Kit and his girlfriend to think that those songs were about him because that implied that she hadn't dated anyone since her breakup with Kit.
But maybe, just maybe, Summer sort of wanted to be under the mistletoe with Kit Connor. She just hoped that the Christmas spirit would support her and push him her way.
