Jackie sighed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror.
It had been a few weeks since she had broken down in front of Meizuo and Ximen who were walking on eggshells around her.
She was currently looking at her dress, making sure it looked nice. She was wearing it for the party she was going to which was also Jing's birthday.
She really didn't want to go but she said she would and couldn't find it in her to cancel.
Taking a deep breath she placed her necklace around her neck that her brother and Ximen had given her and gave her outfit one last check.

Sighing in satisfaction Jackie grabbed her purse and went downstairs to where Meizuo was waiting for her.

Walking into the living room she saw Meizuo on his phone and cleared her throat.
Meizuo looked up from his phone and gasped.
"Jackie, you look amazing!" Meizuo said as he hugged his sister who laughed but hugged him back before giving his outfit a onceover.
"You look very dapper! The women will love you!" Jackie said teasingly as she pinched his cheek.
Meizuo laughed and swatted her hand before grabbing his keys.
"Ready to go?" Meizuo asked, his tone serious and with concern as Jackie sighed but nodded.
