{|~🟡 Part One 🟡~|}

You sat, wincing from pain as your wound (specifically, on your leg) stung sharply. You, unfortunately, had no supplies to heal your leg, and so your head thunked against the wall as you listened to the soothing tune of the water from the waterfall gently drizzling down the opening and into a small pond-like area.

You, soon, noticed the wall that you were leaning against made loud thuds, you flinched as you put your ear against the wall, then you heard...voices? "Quick! In here!" Came a deep voice as the noise of a girl's yelp followed, then a loud splash of water. You flinched as you heard loud wailing from the...waterfall? You, painfully, crawled towards the Waterfall, waiting for the wailing to get louder, which it did.

Suddenly, two figures plummeted from the Waterfall to the ground. Your vision was blurry, and so you rubbed your eyes to get a better look of the two creatures on the ground. One creature was a young human girl with scruffy, dark purple hair, the other one...you weren't so sure. They, or you assumed to be a he, had a skirt like attachment to his waist, he had a bulky demeanour with large eyes bulging from on top of his head, followed with mesmerising blue fins on the sides of his head.

The girl sat up, laughing, then she coughed up a fish, which made you gag quietly. The large creature with grey skin and blue fins also sat up, rubbing the side of his head. The both of them laughed as the large creature pulled out a majestic blue stone that glowed beautifully, it also seemed to have a white crescent moon in the middle.

The creature exclaimed something, to you, that was impossible to decipher, then a small creature with brown fur jumped up, grabbing it before the large crew could finish his sentence. The small mouse like creature landed with a wide smile, bowing as he pulled out a rose, throwing it to the duo before jumping off the ledge.

"That no good..." The big creature started as the girl, and himself, got up, "CHARMING! RAT THIEF!" The big creature yelled angrily, before sighing in defeat, "where does he even get all those roses...?" The creature mumbled grumpily, "ppsshhh! He's good, but he's no match for the Mighty Cadwallader!" The girl elbowed her friend as he grinned softly.

Cadwallader looked down at the girl, there and then he noticed you, "hmmm?" Cadwallader hummed as the girl, aswell, noticed you. Cadwallader approached you, you squealed from fear, using your arms to push you back, away from Cadwallader, "it's okay! I won't harm you!" Cadwallader exclaimed softly as you quivered in fear.

The girl approached you and stood beside Cad. Cad kneeled down, smiling, "hello!" He greeted, trying his best to keep his voice quiet, "I'm Cadwallader! And this is Beatrice! You, my friend?" Cad asked, crossing his legs as Bea, also, kneeled down. You opened your mouth, at a loss for words. You, first, let out a nervous mumble, then you stuttered, "it's okay, take your time." Bea reassured, smiling softly, "I...I uh...I Uhm..." you stuttered shyly.

Cad and Bea appeared patient, waiting for you to respond, occasionally giving you a warm, comforting smile. You inhaled, nervously gulping, "...I-I'm...I-I'm...(Y-Y-Y/N)..." you stuttered shyly, Cad grinned, "what a lovely name!" Cad boasted, you blushed at the compliment, "r-r-r-really...?" You stuttered, Cad smiled, "of course it is! All names are unique in their own ways! Apart from Kest..." Cad's sentence turned dark as he mentioned Kest, which was understandable.

Bea smiled, "how long have you been here, (Y/N)?" She asked, you made a 'Uhm...' yet again, "I...I uh...A while...f-for reasons..." you replied timidly, Beatrice looked at you steadily and concerned, "why's that?" Bea asked, sitting down, though keeping her distance, "...I..." you sighed, "...look..." You lifted the side of your pants up, revealing a harsh wound on your leg.

Bea gasped, "oh my!-"
"Oh my Irpa!" Cad interrupted in a rasp, looking at you worriedly, though he stayed calm, so he wouldn't panic you, "it's a harsh wound." Bea tapped her chin, glancing at Cad as he took off his pouch, rummaging through it. Eventually he pulled out some sort of goopy liquid with bandages. As he reached a hand out to your wound, you pushed yourself backwards. Cad seemed to understand, "oh, I'm sorry!" Cad apologised, "May I?" He asked softly.

You thought about it for a moment, then you nodded, giving him a timid yet sweet smile. Cad returned the smile as he edged closer. He opened the jar with the strange liquid inside, "don't worry! This'll act like pain relief and~! It'll stop infections!" Cad reassured as you shrugged, "I a-a-already knew..." you replied shyly as Cad grinned, "Oh! A smart one you must be then!" He let out a haughty laugh, making you giggle.

Cad pulled out a clean cloth, scooping a bit of the goop up and applying it to your wound. You let out a long sigh of relief, making Cad and Bea chuckle, "does that feel good?" Bea asked jokingly, "...y-y-yeah..." you replied in a half sigh, Cad grinned, "It's pain relief Bea! It'll always feel good!" Cad joked.

Cad lifted up the bandages, gently wrapping them around your wound. Eventually he finished tying the bandages around your wound, you looked down at your leg before looking back up at Cad, utterly grateful, "t-t-thank you...C-Cad..." You thanked in a timid voice, Cad smiled softly, "don't mention it." He replied with a sweet grin.

Bea knelt down, whispering something into Cad's non-visible ears. Cad gasped as he nodded eagerly, then Bea turned her attention to you, "would you like to travel with us?" Bea offered, your eyes lit up, "Really?!" You exclaimed in disbelief, Bea and Cad looked at eachother, chuckling, "of course!" Bea grinned, holding her hips, "so? Whaddya say?" Cad asked, "y-y-yes p-please!" You smiled excitedly.

Cad got up as he knelt beside you, wrapping an arm around your back. He gently lifted you up, though your leg was barely hurting! Wow, Cad really was a good medic when he payed attention. Eventually you, Bea and Cad started to walk off, "welcome to the team! (Y/N)! I can't wait to learn more about you!" Cad exclaimed goofily as you smiled, "you too, Cad" you replied softly, stammer free. Now, you officially had supportive friends!
