Time changed, everything moved, and everything changed.

Dream was static, frozen in time.

An eternal child, a babybones. One that would wear stripes forever.

He didn't understand a lot of things, he hadn't had a chance to learn things like his beloved big brother Nightmare.

Dream sat on the chest in front of the window, he should be asleep, but instead, he watched the bright stars and moon outside.

The longer that he was free of the voice, and as he healed, he had learned many things.
Yet, he felt so sad, understanding that the voice had done so many wrongs with his body.

He would never know their names, or faces, maybe in the nightmarish dreams now and then.

Vision gave a squeaky sound and he smiled, his new friend made him happy... pushing back the sinking sadness that tried to grip him.

He didn't understand this sadness.

Unknown to him, it was called depression.

He wondered where the horrific voice had fled to, was it still spreading misery, puppeting another's body?

Tiny hands hugged their plushy closer to themselves.

He loved Nighty, they were awesome. Dream just wished that he could take away the guilt that he saw on Nightmare's face, guilt at what?

Oh... maybe because he couldn't tell that the voice was a fake Dream?

Brother was so silly, feeling guilty for something no one, but the voice, could control.

"Dream... you should in bed." Nightmare said, coming into the room, he'd come to check on Dream. He walked over and picked his sibling up, and soon enough, he was tucking the tiny bones into bed.

Dream tugged on their arm before they could leave.

"What is it Dream?" Nightmare asked leaning down, so his twin could make him out easier in the darkness of the room.

"Love.. you."

Nightmare's eyes widened, and he kissed Dreams forehead at his siblings first words, as Sci had said that talking, if he could talk, would be rare.

"I love you also Dream."

Dream smiled and he fell asleep, smiling.
