When you left,
you took every part of me with.
My soul, my heart, my mind and my sanity.

You took my will to live and love,
you took my ability to be happy,
and you took my spark.

You took the sparkle out of my eyes,
you took the moisture out of my skin,
and you took the blood from my veins.

You drained me of everything I had left,
and left me to swim oceans of regret.

When you left,
You left me with nothing but an empty shell of hurt,
and that part of me shall be as is for eternity.
