there's a couple i know in their 40s,
who meet everyday and stand 6 feet away from each other at all times because the man is too scared of his only loves physical touch.
They've never held hands,
and they've never felt each other's affection.
The man picks her a flower everyday,
places it on the wall and stands a few steps backwards,
She goes to pick it up and they remain at their original spot for the rest of the time.
They probably make eye contact once the whole time they are together,
they rarely talk yet she continues to do this everyday for him.
People never understand the lengths others are willing to go for love,
And that's okay.
Sometimes Giving someone a flower is better than feeling their warmth,
Sometimes picking off their petals is better than unravelling the blanket of their regret.
