he has no right to get jealous of one of her lifelong friends when he's only known her for s month.
what he said at the time made perfect sense to him. convince her you were just asking a question, convince her that you don't like her like that. like you only want her to be your friend.

yeah sure, they've only known eachother for a month, but in the short amount of time they've spent together, she's grown to like him.
