Chapter 1

"As I write this to you, know that I already have tears in my eyes. At last, the day is finally here as I become your wife. As I told you before, I want to be your wife!

Things always fall into place at the right time and the timing was perfect for us. What ever happened the first time? Do you still remember our first met, babe? I still laugh when I think about our first dance together.

Although I never told you, it didn't take me long to know that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. They say when you meet your soulmate you should feel calm, no anxiety and no agitation. And your calmness is what gravitated me towards you from day one.

I love you, Billy. I love the way you still give me butterflies every time I see you. I love the way you care not only for me but for everyone around you. I love the way you're patient and brave with me. I love how much you're willing to try new things with me to make me happy. I admire how hard you work to help others and above all, I love how you love me.

You've taught me things and opened my eyes to see life so differently and clearly. You've showed me the meaning of love and have made me become so emotional yet strong at the same time. You forever have my heart, my soul and my hand as we journey through this chapter called life together. I will go wherever you go.

Billy, I promise to love you, respect you, protect you and cherish you forever. I'm so lucky to have found such a perfect person that I get to spend the rest of my life with.

**flashback**

It was prom night, last year of middle school. Billy hadn’t asked anyone out before, and it seemed like no one was actually making it a big deal to ask someone to be their partner. Of course there were a few couples, but everyone else seemed to think of this party as just a graduation party of sorts.

They’d wait until the slow music was booed at enough to get the beats going and then they’d all be dancing like crazy. Happy to be done with middle school and on to high school.

Billy was popular among his friends, they looked to him as someone who was very sure of himself, of his attitude, his presence. He was always confident and outgoing. He had also managed to build a reputation for himself as the school’s heart-breaker.

Regardless, he still managed to get a lot of attention from the ladies. Even though they knew he could probably just be playing around. The truth is, he never been in any kind of serious relationship before.

Everyone was having a good time that evening, Billy and his gang of friends were standing at the far end of the gym, just looking around, not really caring much to dance yet, when one of them nudged his elbow and said;

“I dare you to walk up to Becky Armstrong and ask her to dance with you.”

Everyone knew Becky Armstrong. She was the school’s smartest. She would probably make the best student when they actually graduate too. The teachers loved her, the students loved her, even the students' parents loved her.
