indeed the big family outshined everyone they walked past that halloween. heejin stayed away from chenle, him getting sad that his favorite noona was scared of him so he obviously chased her around.
"it's not every night you see the green teletubby getting chased by anabelle," mark said, looking at his friends with a parent-like smile
"halloween is halloween," jeno said from beside him, taking off his mask and squinting his eyes to focus his vision again
"they look so cute!" seorin squealed at her friends dressed as marceline and bubblegum, "i love adventure time!"
"we should go as finn and jake next year" jisung suggested, making seorin light up at the idea
from a distance, they spotted two of their friends dressed as chipmunks and the yellow and red teletubby coming into view with buckets filled with candy
"we robbed kids of their candy," the red teletubby, yasuko, said holding up her bucket
"where's jaemin?"
the group of four looked around then shrugged while donghyuck spoke up, "well he probably stayed back to give those kids his candy. he didn't really like it when we chose trick and pranked them"
it was yasuko's idea to go up to kids and tricking them, then renjun and haechan would sneak up on children and scare them, asking for their candy in return. all while jaemin kept disapproving of the idea and scolding his friends while consoling the kids.
"its not nice to treat kids like that," he huffed, finally joining his friends sat at the park
"we didn't treat them. we tricked them." renjun corrected
"nah not the nerdy chipmunk speaking"
