Aaron Judge- First dates first rules

Start from the beginning

Her mind was going through it. Not only has she let in a complete stranger into her home. She let in the worst kind of stranger. She felt her blood pressure rising as he mind went to one of her top rules. But she couldn't just kick this man out of her house after promising a meal. But in all honesty he could buy a meal all on his own.

" I hope you're not a crazed fan" he laughs a shy smile taking over his face. Once she looks at him again she can't help it. This tall man acted like a teddy bear. He just seemed so far from her stereotypes. She doesn't know what's in her but she pushes her feelings aside and joins in on his laughter.

"No, no far from that. I don't follow sports at all"

Rule #3
HAVE to like cats

Sure maybe this one was a bit weird of a rule. But biscuit and gravy where her baby's. She needed someone to loved cats, and she didn't want dogs. She had been a cat girl all of her life. She needed someone to love her baby's as much as she did.

So imagine her surprise when she begins to hear sneezing off in the distance as she began to prepare food. "Is everything okay?" She calls out.

A few more sneezes were heard before she stumbled out of the kitchen to see Aaron cuddled up on her couch. "Yeah, sorry I don't know why but my allergies are acting up." At these words her two cats come purring up to her from out of her room.

"Oh god, or those cats" he mutters. "Gosh I hate cats, they set off my allergies. I prefer my dog" he rambles as he inches away from the cats. She stares at him with wide eyes. Her eyebrows fully raised to her head as she takes in what he has just said.

"Hate cats? But they're the best little creatures ever. Just look at them" she says pointing to her two baby's and she scoops one into her arms. Judge stares at her something in his eyes changed. Like
He knew this was a deal breaker. And the next thing she notices is him crawling onto the floor to pet the cat.

" I guess I could work with a cat" he mumbles. As he watches her leave back to the kitchen.

Rule #4
NEVER kiss a man you just met

She felt bad for admitting this to herself. But this night had been one of the best she had ever had. He talked all the time. From stories of his youth to stories of now. He just carried the conversation with ease and made her feel as though she wasn't forcing so much into something. He asked her questions and continued to bring her into what he was talking about.

And he finished all of his food. She felt accomplished seeing someone enjoy her food. She loved when people enjoyed things she did. And this was no different. She brought a stranger to her home and cooked. And he had enjoyed everything about it.

He grabs both of their dishes and puts them in her sink. She rushes over to him to stop him from helping with anything. But he declines and begins to help her wash to dishes and clean the cooking mess she had made.

She felt her heart warming as she watched Aaron move about her kitchen and clean everything up for her. She stepped back and watched him with a fond smile forming over her features. She moves to be next to him and places a hand on his back. "It's okay, I can finish the dishes. I'm sure you need to be ready tomorrow for something."

"But I want to help, you've been nothing short of kind to me and I haven't done anything"

She shakes her head as she looks at him fondly. "No, you gave me one of the best nights I've had. I really enjoyed this." she says with a small smile on her face. She watches his eyes looking down to her. She focus on him as a slowly turns to her placing his hands on her hips. Her breath hitches as he pulls her into him as he bends down to her. Pulling her face up, his thumbs now resting on either side of her face.

"May I?" He whispers his breath hot against her face. It's as though everything had gone quiet. No buzzing of the fan, no soft noise in the background. Just them in this moment. This moment feeling blissful as the only thing between them was air. She nods her head as she lets him kiss her. She felt like music was going on, like a beautiful melody had began playing in this moment.

She felt like her world had color, the sounds of the world came back, the buzzing of the fan, the meowing of her cats, the cars honking and the late trains of New York all around her. But these mundane day to day noises sang like a song now. The world had become  a beautiful picture now. She pulled away from him. "I've never kissed someone I'd just met before."

"Me either, but I feel like today was months long. I want to know more of you." He whispers against her face. She smiles against him as she rests her head on his chest. She blissful moments of today passing through her mind.

Rule #5
Never go on a second date if they fail all rules.

She knew she should pursue more with this man. Knew it in the bottom of her heart that continuing anything would be wrong. She had made these rules for a reason. They were in place because they saved her from heartbreak.

As she walked Aaron to her door she knew what she had to do. "Listen, today was amazing-"

"Come to my game tomorrow, this doesn't have to end. Nights like this could be countless. Give me a chance. I can tell in your eyes you're scared. But I've never felt these ways before. Let me show you what I can do. Let me treat you right. I can't cook five star meals for you, but I can give you what you deserve. Let me make you happy as you were tonight."

She didn't even give it a second thought. She had broken all her rules, why not break one more. "Okay.." she says as they lean into each other once more to share a kiss.
