I sat on my desk looking out of the window and feeling the wind that hits my skin it always felt like it was yesterday when I was going school but now I am a grown up and I am supposed to pay my own bills.
To be honest all life I have been listening to whatever I have been told to do, my mom, she is a strict and a lady full of principles she thinks that her reputation would be destroyed if my closet was messy. I was a rebellious girl full with enthusiasm but my mom's words still ring around my ears like they were said few moments back.
"That's no way you speak to anyone, better change your attitude or you will be left alone"
I was in my thoughts when I heard a loud knock on my door and guessing the knock I knew who it was.
"Come in Sia" Sia was my best friend for past 3 years I lived in her apartment and continued to find a job as she helped me too. "Hey come on bro get ready aren't you coming to the party?" She wore a bold black dress with a slit from her thigh and a red lipstick. Sia was always like this bold, sassy and ready to fight anytime....unlike me.
"Damn you look so amazing in that dress!"
"Thanks but are you coming or shall I leave?" She picked up her heels jokingly showing that she is leaving.
