"Stop laughing, it was supposed to be your breakfast"

"What?!"

Aether laughed, enjoying the company he got from his new found friend.

A few months had passed, Aether and Kazuha decided to take their friendship to a new point to which they've been in a relationship since then. Everyone seemed to be happy for them..

But one wasn't...

Xiao watched them and sometimes hung out with them. He wasn't really happy of how close the two of them got and he decided to break their lovely relationship apart by telling some lies about Aether.

"Hey Kazuha" Xiao said with his casual friendly tone.

"Hey there Xiao, I'm so grateful that-"

"Listen, Aether has been cheating on you with Scaramouche for a while now" Xiao says, lying really coldly to Kazuha but he didn't cared about Kazuha's feelings at all.

"I don't think that he would do something like that, he's too nice to hurt anyone" Kazuha replies, seeing through Xiao's lies, of course Xiao was upset about it but quickly recovered and played Kazuha some voice records:

'I must say, Scara, I really think you're hot and stuff and I would love to go out (hangout) with you, maybe there might be something hiding behind our friendliness (friendship)'

(Second voice record):

'I would die to get him, honestly, he's so nice and handsome like aahh, I feel like I could die any moment whenever I see him'
(He talks about Kazuha there lmao)

"I'll talk to him about it" Kazuha says a little angry while believing Xiao's lies. He knew it was wrong of him to believe something like this but he needed confirmation from Aether that these voice records are real. He went to Aether's house quickly.

"Heyyy Kazuuu I've mi-"

"We have to talk" Kazuha says with a serious expression and tone in his voice. Aether lead him into the living room and put some fresh tea on the coffeetable.

"What did you wanted to talk about?" Aether asks.

"Have you been cheating on me with Scaramouche?" 

"What are you talking about?"

"You know what I'm talking about"

"Actually not? Tell me what you mean"

"Explain this" Kazuha says before playing those two voice records. Which makes Aether really surprised that Kazuha got them.

"Where did you get them from?"

"Xiao sent me them, now explain this please"

"That first voice message.. I've meant it out of pure friendship.. and in that second voice record.. I was talking about you.."

"Friendship?"

"Yeah.. I'm talking to my friends like that since I want to show them how much I appreciate and value the friendship by giving them compliments like those.. I've never meant to get you to think that I'm cheating on you.. really"

Kazuha sighs, not really believing Aether's explanation but he's willing to give Aether a second chance.

"I'm sorry that I've been thinking that" Kazuha smiles, giving Aether a soft kiss on the cheek. It was impossible for Kazuha to stay mad at Aether.

"Want to come with me and Scara we've planned on going bowling and then we wanted to go to the arcade"

"Nah, i'll pass on it this time, enjoy your 'date' with Scara though"

"Too bad, oh well, have fun chilling at home on your own then"

"Thank you very much"

"You're welcome"

Many more months had passed and today was the day where according to Xiao would end the relationship from Kazuha and Aether. He collected so many photos of  'proofs' where Aether is cheating and he wants to show them Kazuha. Of course he knows the consequences for his actions and he knows that they can't be redone once he did the final thing for his break up plan. He hid behind a bush and observed the situation. Xiao sent every photo he hadn't showed to Kazuha and waited until Kazuha meets Aether.

"Are you cheating one me? Once more?" Kazuha had asked

The question made Aether a bit sad but also pretty mad, sure Kazuha may have concerns but that's getting a bit too far.

"I'm so sick of you asking me if I would be cheating just because of some harmless photos which don't say that I'm cheating"

"Then why the heck is Xiao saying the opposite thing?"

"Because he misunderstands that"

"Are you going to admit that you're cheating?"

"Excuse me? I've already said that Scara is my friend"

"I don't care anymore, I'll break up"

"Do you really want to throw nine months away? Just like that?"

"Yes, I don't see any reason why we should continue with our relationship"

"Oh.. I see..."

"Goodbye"

"I fucking loved you and you're going to throw it all away.."

"I just don't love you anymore, is that so difficult to understand?!"

"Can we at least talk it out..?"

"There's no need to talk it out"

"Please... Don't leave me..."

"I've already made up my mind a long time ago, sorry"

"What...?"

Kazuha gets up and leaves coldly, he left Aether sitting there overly confused and a bit stressed out, tears were threatening to escape, he couldn't believe that someone as nice as Kazuha would turn his back on him. Aether felt incredibly used but he tried to over play it with his usual calm and nice attitude, he had a headache, he was so tired and yet he couldn't walk back home, as much as Aether wanted to, he just couldn't walk back.

It was frustrating, he knew he couldn't save their relationship anymore, but his mind kept racing with all the good memories he made with Kazuha, tears were running down his cheeks and he felt like no one cared which only fueled his sadness but he didn't seem to care. He looked through the gallery with the pictures they've made together, it made him feel like he was slowly losing interest in anything besides laying in bed to cry. Aether didn't felt like going to school for a few weeks, his grades dropped to the lowest and he was at the close to failing classes which he tried to avoid but obviously couldn't. It was depressing but not as much as depressed as he was himself and yet...

He felt incredibly lonely...
