Nami entered your room, concern etched on her face as she saw you trying to hold back tears. "Why are you crying?" she asked gently, her voice filled with empathy. You took a deep breath, struggling to steady your breathing as you explained, "When I told Luffy I loved him, he said, 'I love you too, you're my best friend.'" The words carried a tinge of disappointment, a reflection of your unrequited feelings.

Nami's expression transformed into one of anger, her frustration evident. "That idiot," she muttered under her breath. Understanding the complexity of your situation, she pondered for a moment before offering her advice. "But even though he said that, my heart can't help but still love him. What do i do?" you asked, your voice filled with uncertainty.

A determined glint appeared in Nami's eyes as she left your room, promising to send Zoro to talk to Luffy. After about fifteen minutes, Nami returned, informing you that Zoro was on his way to have a conversation with Luffy. You listened intently, your heart pounding in anticipation.

Zoro found Luffy and took a seat beside him, preparing to address the delicate matter at hand. "Hey, Luffy, Nami wants me to talk to you about something concerning y/n crying-" Zoro began, only to be interrupted by Luffy's serious voice. "I know what y/n meant when she said she loved me," Luffy said, his tone filled with understanding.

Zoro's eyes widened in surprise, waiting for Luffy to continue. "But sometimes, you have to lie to the people you love," Luffy continued, his voice carrying a weight of responsibility. "I've loved her since we were children, but if I date her, I don't want my emotions to get in my way. So, at this time, I have to pretend."

Zoro sighed, realizing the complexity of Luffy's perspective. He returned to Nami, sharing the details of their conversation. Unbeknownst to them, you had overheard their exchange, your heart aching with a mix of understanding and longing.

The realization that Luffy's intentions were rooted in a desire to protect your friendship brought a bittersweet comfort. While it hurt to know that your romantic feelings couldn't be reciprocated at this time, a glimmer of hope emerged. Luffy's love for you, though expressed differently, existed in its own unique way.

With this newfound perspective, you embraced the complexity of your emotions. Love, as you had discovered, could take many forms, and sometimes it required sacrifices for the sake of a greater bond. You vowed to cherish the friendship you shared with Luffy, supporting him in his endeavor to become the Pirate King while also nurturing your own growth and happiness.

As the ship sailed through the vast expanse of the Grand Line, you emerged from your room, a renewed determination etched on your face. The unspoken understanding between you and Luffy became a source of strength, fueling your resolve to navigate the challenges of the journey together.

The future remained uncertain, but you knew that love, friendship, and dreams intertwined in ways that were often beyond comprehension. With the support of your friends and the unwavering bond you shared with Luffy, you were ready to face whatever lay ahead, embracing the beauty of unrequited love and the power of an unbreakable friendship.
